App closure after Apple CarPlay shutdown
Please fix the app so it automatically closes after the car shuts off with Apple CarPlay. It used to do this until about 6-12 months ago. It’s annoying that Waze stays running when you get out of your car, draining your phone battery.

NY E-ZPass merge the cost calculation with sunpass
When calculating routes in Florida with E-ZPass transponder rates they should match sunpass rates. This information stated on cfxway.com faq that E-ZPass customers will be charged the same rates as sunpass users and is no longer exclusive to the E-Pass/Sunpass transponder. When travelling in Florida just note most signs are outdated and say sunpass only.

Ghost, or Soap. Call Of Duty Roadmap Voice
I think Waze developer should add Call Of Duty Voice for the direction map. Character such as Ghost, Soap, or Price. They are pretty iconic.

Route by average speed
Sometimes the app suggests a route with a shorter total time, but with a much greater distance than the other options. For example: 5 minutes less with 10km more. Therefore, I suggest showing the average speed (Distance/Time) of each option.

Don't hide submitter username when they are a active map editor (at least Level 1 due to signing up for WME access) for Map UR's they report in able to make finding them for the reporter in WME easier when getting home so they can add clarification to the UR and if they didn't get to it fast enough and another editor takes a look at it they know what other editor reported it so they can engage with them appropriately either through the Waze Discord chats or a Waze Map Chat DM for better communication workflow then doing it…

Support vans
Please please support speed limits for vans and give the option to drive to commercial vehicles speeds (VANS)
It really will help A LOT OF VAN DRIVERS in keeping to the different speed limits. It’s a great app but make it better by adding this feature.10 votes -

Improved Alert System for Fixed Cameras at Junctions in Waze
I would like to suggest an enhancement to the way Waze handles alerts for fixed cameras at junctions. Currently, Waze only provides voice alerts for the direction in which the camera is set up, even though the camera captures images from every direction at the junction.
For better safety and user awareness, it would be highly beneficial if Waze could provide voice alerts for all directions when a fixed camera is present at a junction. This would ensure that drivers are fully informed of the camera’s location, regardless of the direction they are traveling.

Add garage location
Same as we can enter work and home locations. having the opportunity to add the garage location would be perfect, in European cities not all residences have garage and some users park somewhere else. Having the option to have both addresses saved would save time, sometimes you just go past home to pick someone up but not really leaving the car at the garage.

Timer display for Traffic Signal (UAE Region)
It would be great help if there are timers that pop up when we are close to traffic signals indicating how much time left for the signal to turn either red or green. This would assist the drivers to make up their minds beforehand either to stop or continue.

CarPlay - no warnings when Waze is not on full screen
I have issue to report with Waze running on BMW iDrive8 head unit. Waze stops giving voice alerts if it is not on full screen or if I use split screen between Waze and Apple Music. Even though I have Waze opened in the instrument cluster, it does not give any voice warning if it is not full screen on the main unit. Please fix that. I don't want having Waze everywhere on my screens in order to receive voice alerts. If I have it opened on my instrument cluster, this alone should be enough to receive voice alerts, I…

I can't find the button to disable Invisible mode. I don't even recall turning it on in the first place. Fix this please.

Please consider showing STOP signals when possible. An optional sound alert would be a plus. It will be an extra of confort for a safer trip.

In vielen Städten wie Wuppertal veröffentlichen die Behörden wöchentlich Pläne, auf denen die Standorte mobiler Blitzer von Montag bis Freitag angekündigt werden. Mein Vorschlag ist, dass Waze diese offiziellen Daten automatisch integriert, um Nutzer:innen proaktiv zu warnen.
Vorteile:
- Höhere Genauigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit der Blitzerwarnungen durch offizielle Quellen.
- Zeitersparnis für Nutzer:innen, die Blitzer nicht manuell melden müssen.
- Bessere Verkehrssicherheit durch präzise Vorabinformationen.Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten:
1. Kooperation mit Städten, um digitale Pläne (z.B. via API) einzubinden.
