Avoid Collisions
Add AVOID COLLISIONS on the avoid list. Waze will send me a notification of a collision before my commute but still offers only routes that all take me past the collision. There are plenty of surface routes as an alternative to the freeway I usually take, but Waze won't use them. I would rather arrive at work 5-10 minutes late taking a surface street than 30 minutes late because of following the routes on the freeway with the collision(s).

Noise level limited db
Hi, would it be possible to add to the maps ( Austria and Germany) sections where the sections are limited to a max noise level of 95db ?
Resp when planning turn on / off avoiding these sections ?

Reporting on hazardous streets, drag racing
Can Waze drivers add hazards such as streets that are rampant with drag racers like Honeycutt Road?

Re-enable Other Side Police Reporting
Otherside Police Reporting- This was probably one of the best features of the App- other than the same side regular police notification. It gives a warning for less traveled roads that may have a Waze user traveling in the other direction on a less traveled road whereas a same way traveler has not yet passed and left an Alert. PLEASE BRING THAT FEATURE BACK ASAP!

Create a mode for emergency and road maintenance vehicles that notifies them when there is an accident or broken-down vehicle in their work area so that they can provide more effective assistance.

New roads
Dear Waze Team,
I have been a dedicated Waze user for several years. Recently, I discovered that I could contribute by making map corrections when I tried to report a missing road. A Waze representative reached out to me online, I provided details, and within a couple of days, the road was added to the map. I truly appreciate this level of responsiveness and community engagement.
I would like to propose a collaboration. I am the administrator of an off-road club in Azerbaijan, and we frequently travel across the country using old topographic maps that include roads not currently available…

Display on 2024 Chevy Equinox EV Discolored
Colors of the app are improperly displaying on Google Automotive (2024 Equinox EV). All other apps are working normally but Waze is having a sepia-like display, without blues and greens, and only looks normal when you switch away to another app for a very brief second.

Hi, we love using the Waze app for travelling where ever we are.
However it would be great if there was a setting for avoiding minor roads or entering the size of vehicle. We occasionally tow a 7.5m caravan and last week when Waze re directed us due to heavy traffic we found ourselves in very narrow lanes with the caravan in tow - very stressful. A warning stating route unsuitable for large vehicles might even suffice?
Please can you consider this as an update.

Minimum Up Time of Cop Notifications
Just encountered this today, November 26, 2024, in South Carolina on I95 going South.
Cops are able to remove themselves from the map within three minutes of posting since they can create multiple accounts.
Since anyone is allowed to remove or say that the cop is “not there,” a new report should have a minimum uptime of 30 minutes after the initial report to let votes rack up confirming the cop is there.
Being deleted after I report it after 3 minutes is insane and prevents the whole purpose of this app.
Let’s do better. Let’s be better.

Could we have the option to export the saved places list (including the names and addresses) to a file (csv) or to Google Maps?

A restricted road that shouldn’t be navigated
I have got a PCN because of Waze suggested driving through a restricted Road in Fulham Peterborough road o/s side of 90 Clancarty Road. Please do not suggest this road in the future.

Allow us to create customizable single press shortcut button for hazard reporting etc.
Too many steps to press while driving to report hazard etc can be dangerous. Why not allow users to create a customizable single press shortcut button for reporting car on shoulder or object on road instead of multiple steps of pressing buttons to get to the final issue. ie. not needing to press Hazard and then having to search the type of hazard in the small phone screen while driving. A single shortcut would be much easier. The most commonly used report for me is car on shoulder so why not just allow me to create that single shortcut.

ZTL Zona verde roma
Ho visto che Google Maps conosce i “confini” della Zone Verde di Roma, tant’è che quando si imposta un tragitto che attraversa questa zona appare un avviso che allerta di ciò, perche non introdurre questa cosa anche su Waze in modo tale da permettere a chi possiede veicoli che purtroppo non possono entrare in quella zona di evitarla e quindi non rischiare di pagare multe?

Add option allowing your URs to be posted under your username (not anonymoulsy)
It has been said numerous time that due to private data protections, URs are always posted anonymously.
However, many editors use the UR system as a mean to "take notes" of problems during a trip, and then will correct deal with those UR when on WME after the trip.
However, those URs are always marked as anonymous on WME and other editors often start to reply those UR not knowing that those were done by other fellow editors. This leads to a lost of time, since those UR should be considered as "already watched by another editor".

"Avoid" option for single track roads with passing places
When travelling in Devon, Cornwall or anywhere where there is a lot of unspoiled countryside, I suggest Waze make available an option in the Navigation Settings to "AVOID" Single Track Roads With Passing Places.
