Add Automatic Distance Unit Option
I’d like to propose an “automatic” option for distance units in Waze, similar to Google Maps. This would allow the app to adjust units based on the country a traveler is in, eliminating the need to manually switch in settings each time. It’s not only more convenient for frequent travelers but also improves safety, since mismatched units between road signs and the app could lead to confusion while driving.

waze voice reporting issue
After the last two updates, when I have my phone plugged in, the "speak the error function doesn't work as well on Android Auto. The music doesn't pause and it'll take a minute to process. It only really started functioning this way after the "big arrow issue" got fixed on Android Auto.

Avoid rough roads
I live in the Dallas area which has some roads so rough a 4x4 would have to do 5mph not to get damage, and I drive a sporty car with relatively low and stiff suspension. I would like the option to avoid rough roads because it has cost me tires and rims in the past which both are $250+ each and has caused literally caused frame damage from potholes that were over 10" deep

I need to contact Google support
and you guys are owned by Google. My accounts were hacked. I need a phone number that I can use to call Google customer support. At this point I would make an entirely new Gmail account and set up google ads so I could get in contact with somebody, but if the phone line is going to be locked behind a paywall, you might as well just let me pay for it directly instead of forcing me to backdoor my way in through creating additional google accounts.

road temporary closed
Please add the option to report road closures due to events or street markets, including the dates and times of the closure. It should be possible to do this either before or after navigation—before departure or after arrival.
Sometimes there are street markets or events, and advance signage is placed on the road stating that 'from/until this street will be closed to traffic.'
If this information could be entered, Waze would avoid including that street in the proposed route.
For example: I live near the stadium, and I know that on Saturdays when Torino plays, Via Filadelfia is closed to…

Simplifier
Lorsqu'il y a une alerte (police, travaux, etc ...) il y a une confirmation a valider ("toujours la" ou "pas la") ne serait il pas judicieux de supprimer "toujours la" et d'indiquer uniquement "pas la" pour la sécurité c'est mieux ca évite de se concentrer sur l'écran au lieu de la route , comme ça si le danger est toujours la on ne fait rien ce qui est logique et le cas contraire on valide " pas la" si il n'y a plus rien.

Se deberian de incluir en el apartado de gasolineras las estaciones de servicio que tienen GLP. ya que es un combustible cada dia mas usado

Véhicule utilitaire
Bonjour Waze,
Utilisateur depuis vos débuts en France, je vous félicite — j’utilise Waze tous les jours dans mon activité d’artisan. Suggestion : ajoutez un profil « utilitaire » (hauteur, longueur, poids) et la possibilité de basculer entre plusieurs véhicules. Aujourd’hui, Waze ne distingue que Privé / Taxi / Moto et ne prend pas en compte les restrictions de gabarit. Il y a peu, je me suis retrouvé face à un tunnel limité à 2 m alors que mon véhicule fait 2,40 m : obligé de faire demi-tour, ce qui a considérablement rallongé mon trajet. Cette amélioration rendrait Waze encore…1 vote -

Police (Median)
We need a “Police (Median)” alert that warns traffic in both directions on an interstate. Police (hidden) and Police (other side) don't always apply. This alert would warn traffic in both directions of the interstate or divided highway, since most police run front and rear radars simultaneously.

Adjust routes
Hi Waze team,
I’m a long-time Wazer (5+ years), and I truly appreciate the app. However, I’d like to share some frustrating limitations:
- Add the ability to manually edit a route with multiple intermediate stops
Waze usually finds good routes, but sometimes I want to manually adjust it — set 2–3 waypoints, fix the path myself, and avoid places I don’t want to pass. Right now, it’s not possible to fully customize a route this way.
- Allow starting a route from a different location (not current GPS location)

rychlost do konce měřeného úseku
bylo by možné v měřeném úseku zobrazovat rychlost kterou je potřeba reálně udržovat, aby jsem přijel na konec úseku ve správné rychlosti (v dlouhém úseku se mi stane, že někdy trochu překročím a před koncem jedu zbytečně pomalu abych nepřekročil rychlost)
úsek 50 km/h - v úseku jsem jel chvíli rychleji --- pak by se mi zobrazila doporučená rychlost 45 km/h)s díky Vladimír

Customise routes according to specific vehicles
Vehicles such as the Citroën Ami, Fiat Topolino or Opel Rocks cannot drive on all city roads because of their low power and the speed limits imposed (45 km/h).
In Rome, for example, you can't drive on a very important road called the 'Tangenziale', or the motorway. This means that using Waze is not an option, as it often sends you to these roads, which are off-limits to small cars.
It would be better if these small vehicles could have other routes so they don't risk getting fined or worse.8 votes -

Filter past events on Waze Events website
Currently, the Waze Events page displays past, happening, and upcoming events together in one list. This layout makes the interface cluttered and difficult to navigate, especially when users are trying to find relevant or future events quickly.
Suggested improvement: Add a time-based filter or separate tabs to organize events by status:
- Upcoming
- Happening Now
- EndedThis would allow users to hide past events or view only the categories they need.
Benefits:
- Cleaner and more intuitive interface
- Faster access to current and future events
- Better usability on mobile devices
- Easier event tracking and analysis…

Journey time <> motorway preference setting rather than avoid/use toggle
When motorbiking it’s often frustrating to be stuck on a motorway when the non-motorway alternative (for a large portion of the route) is equal or similar time.
It would be great to have an option to better blend the route. I.e a preference to non-motorway unless it makes sense for part of the route to be completed on motorway to make progress rather than the strict on/off toggle.
