Fix the phone overheating issue
Let me explain the background on this. I've been happily using Waze with AA in my car for several years. All of a sudden, mid Feb 2024, my phone is overheating, sometimes before I even leave my driveway! I added a utility to my phone to troubleshoot and what I discovered is atrocious. This started right around Feb 19th. Whenever I have Waze running in the car, Google Maps is also running in background. If I use Google Maps to navigate, the phone doesn't overheat and Waze doesn't open either. I am already in the Beta group for Android Auto,…

Instelling voor positie UI elementen
Een optie voor auto's met stuur aan de linker kant om bv snelheids meter en wegaanwijzingen naar het midden of aan de rechterkant weer te geven.
Op dit moment heb ik een vaste din auto android tablet (landscape) in mijn auto, waarbij het stuur met handen de linkerkant de UI elementen bedekt. Moet daarvoor eromheen kijken. Voor engelse auto's met stuur aan de rechterkant zijn de huidige posities ideaal. Maar niet voor autos met stuur aan de linkerkant.

Potholes reports disappear
Every day I report huge potholes on motorway E42 in Belgium, and every day I have to report them again and again because Waze doesn't take my indications into account. Could you please make an effort? Thanks.

הפעלת ניווט אוטומטי לפי מיקום אזורי
הרעיון הוא לאפשר למשתמשים להגדיר אזורים או נקודות במפה שבהם הניווט יופעל אוטומטית. כך, נוכל לנסוע במסלולים המוכרים לנו, ובמקום להפעיל את הניווט מראש, האפליקציה תתחיל להנחות אותנו רק כאשר נגיע לאזור שהגדרנו.
בנוסף, ניתן יהיה לבחור מסלול מתוך רשימת המסלולים על ידי לחיצה ארוכה על אחת השורות, ולהגדיר הפעלה אוטומטית של הניווט באזור מסוים במסלול זה.

רציתי להציע רעיון שאני מאמין שישדרג את חוויית השימוש ב-Waze:
רובנו משתמשים בהנחיה הקולית הסטנדרטית עם הקראת שמות הרחובות, וזה נהדר לניווט היומיומי. בעבר הופיעו קולות מיוחדים ומהנים שניתן היה להשתמש בהם, אך מכיוון שהם חסרו פונקציות מסוימות (כמו הקראת שמות רחובות), רבים מאיתנו נמנעו מלהשתמש בהם כקול הראשי.
ההצעה שלי היא לאפשר בחירת קול שונה ומיוחד עבור התראות ודיווחים בלבד, בעוד שההנחיה הקולית הרגילה תמשיך ללוות אותנו במהלך הניווט. כך, נוכל ליהנות מהפתעות קוליות משעשעות ומגוונות באמצע הדרך—כמו קולו של הרס”ר המפורסם או דמויות ייחודיות אחרות—מבלי לוותר על הנוחות והפונקציונליות של ההנחיה הרגילה.

The different Login procedures in the Waze App and in the web are confusing and faulty: password not working, confirmation mail not sent, user name incorrect, profile not shown in web and not editable...

Hazard link fix
The car on roadway report link was removed. While being on the shoulder is probably the most seen report for cars stopped, a car stopped in the middle of the road is also a serious hazard. I think this link should be added back.

Motorcycle cycle round route for rides out like Tom Tom Go Ride offers
When on two wheels we ride for the enjoyment of being on two wheels, most of the time… tomtom go ride offers a circular route option wher you ride to your chosen point say the beach and the app navigator routes you a return route on different routes not necessarily the one you went out on a useful feature

Add to reporting options
Please consider adding an addition to the hazard, crashes or traffic jams portion of the reporting...I.e., hazard LEFT shoulder, crash RIGHT lane, RIGHT or LEFT lane closed merge right/left. Today we do not know where the issue is, and this would be super helpful in Miami traffic 😩

Send Pot hole data to government for repair work automatically.
Standardize pot hole reporting to the government by automatically sending the data from Waze to the proper agency's so they can plan and repair the areas that will have the biggest impact.
