I think Waze needs a "Pause" or "Hold" button on the main screen so that drivers can pause the information when they pull off for gas or to use the restroom. When you pull off the app is constantly talking about getting back. I understand that feature is necessary but it is a nuisance when you just need to get off the rout of travel. Love the app and use it all the time

Have a pause navigation feature for when we need to get off our park to get gas, food or might want to stop and see something so we didn't have the voice always telling us what to do and where to go.

I mentioned PAUSE. A "pause" / "continue" feature would be convenient. This can be in the form of an app-voice command, screen-finger-tap(s), or on screen button. I currently have to close and restart it if I'm driving.

Pause button: when the user temporarily doesn’t need navigation particularly rerouting, but doesn’t want to end the route and start over (especially if there are route choices or stops). Hitting pause turns off rerouting alert tones and limits automatic rerouting to returning to the road where the user departed the route.

Please give the app a "PAUSE" feature, so that we can stop for gas or food without loosing our route. It would be great if it continued to check the traffic in case something happened while you were taking a break.

If we had a pause function we can stop and get gas, snacks, etc. without hearing all the re-routing.

When I exit the highway "unexpectedly" and drive to a gas station or restaurant have Waze ask if I'm taking a pit stop and it needs to pause or if I want it to continue to give directions to get me back on track.

Please fix the ridiculous feature that causes this app to momentarily pause, for reasons I still can't figure out, in the middle of a trip.

Whether I pull over to go to the bathroom, or get gas, or go to a store en Rroute, it should remain on and keep functioning the entire time.

I just drove 20 miles out of my way, because Waze paused, and when I got back on the road it was paused unbeknownst to me, and didn't tell me when I missed my exit.

Take a note from Google Maps. While it can be annoying at times, it never shuts down until you manually shut it down.

Anybody that drives on trips would understand that this needs to be an essential feature of this app.

If I'm doing something wrong, or there's a setting I need to know about, please let me know. I didn't develop this app, and I don't work for the company, so I may not know all the little ins and outs that I need to set to make sure this thing never pauses when I'm in the middle of a trip.

What possible reason would you have for putting this feature on this application? It is completely asinine and needs to go.

Is this a reality or still 'under consideration'? I looked for it today when I stopped for gasoline. Perhaps I need to get in the habit of muting the volume when I stop.

It would be nice if we could PAUSE the navigation with a single button, and REESUME it with the same button after a while.
This is very useful when I have already selected a destination and route but want to activate it from a certain location in the trip.

Must have for every navigation app.

That moment when you get into gas station, and waze starts to shout - TURN AROUND!! And everyone stalks you like creep... :D
