Return in-app location sharing
The one click location sharing to other waze members needs to be returned. Was super handy to share my location with my partner or friend with a single click, waze would sms the intended person my link, eta and when I was a few minutes away.
Now it's all via external apps that send out bulky messages that utilises 8 lines of text. Disrupts conversations unless you want to keep deleting them daily.

Fix calendar sync on iPhone!!
Calendar sync used to work on my iPhone but now it's gone. I rely on this for my job which is made up of driving to many daily appointments. All my upcoming jobs were nicely listed on my main screen, then that vanished so I went to "planned drives" to find them, and now nothing is there except a screen telling me to sync my calendar but it's already switched on with all my calendars selected! Now I have to go to my calendar, click the appointment, tap the address, tap "open in Waze", click the correct location, then "find…

Eventual avatars available for ever
Why eventual avatars dissapear in some accounts while somepeople can use then for ever?! You must be able to use the avatar you want whenevery you like!

Enhancement Request: Change in way to acknowledge "Still there" "Not there" on app
Using Carplay, the message pops up with header followed by your 2 choices.
If you could make it so the message is in the middle, choice 1 on top, and choice 2 on bottom, it would be alot easier to correctly select your choice while driving on a touch screen display.
I love the app, and figured I'd submit this to try to make it even better!

Flip phone support
Hello guys, any chance you can add support for the Samsung z flip?
With Google maps and other apps, when you fold the phone it puts the map on half the screen.
I really want to use this app and sack off the usless Google maps but I fold my phone to fit on my dash and this hasn't got the capability of working folded.
Look forward to trying the app while driving

Main menu taps register in wrong place
The main menu registers taps incorrectly. I have to tap the item above the one I actually want for it to. I'm using iPhone 14

UI Idea
I suggest a controller layout.
Where when you are in drive mode you can swipe to the right and have massive buttons.
Customisable buttons with customisable actions.
Most importantly a report speed camera button or police or construction.You swipe right and you can have a robot layout
3 buttons.
Or a controller top right bottom left layout.
And customisable and different actions to it.
1. Speed camera.
2. Record audio for later.

Hamburger menu
In iOS the touchscreen is off, but only on the hamburger menu, where you have to touch the intended item above to select the item you’re wanting to execute. Example: to sleep, you have to touch help and support. Bring back the old menu to sleep, or fix the glitch please!

I’m using iPhone XS and iOS 16. Recently it’s not possible to find the address I have in my contacts. It was working well before.

Larger fonts in black bar and for time and distance on bottom.
Waze should not require squinting and be VERY fast to scan. The real estate on the black top bar is underused and tiny time-distance fonts at the bottom are poor HID. Top bar should be more efficiently used or smaller (the result would be similar).

Please allow the map screen to be displayed on iphone screen at same time as being connected to CarPlay via cable.
My phone is secured right up at top of dashboard for safer view of map whilst keeping eye on the road ahead.
However I can’t use any of the features of CarPlay, as, as soon as it’s connected to CarPlay, the map disappears from my iphone screen. Which is less than ideal. The In car screen is really low down in my car… and I think a lot of people would benefit from this feature….

show distance when calculating path other from current location
when planing a path and setting a different starting point than our current, we cant see distance calculation - would be nice
