Velocímetro
Posição do velocímetro é prejudicada pela mensagem de ocorrência de "RADAR'.
A visualização do velocímetro fica prejudicada, ou até mesmo encobertada pela mensagem enorme alertando sobre RADAR'.
Solução proposta é permitir, nas próximas atualizações, que o usuário escolha a melhor posição do Velocímetro no mapa. Ou que o mesmo
seja flutuante.Obrigado e aguardo.

Vehicle icons too big
Car icons way too large since recent update. Makes it extremely difficult to see roads and the general map. Nobody asked for extra large vehicle icons that look so cartoonish...please revert back!

Alternate route display should follow the setting for "Keep map north up"
If "Keep map north up" is off then alternate routes should be displayed with my position at the bottom of the screen.
This will make it easier to visualise alternate routes relative to my current position.
Also applies to the app but I'm only able to select one category.

Danger Zone
Cameras are placed in known danger zones.
Usually the danger is within 100m either side of the camera.
Sometimes it is not allowed to plot cameras.
But a general warning - danger zone in 200m - would be useful.3 votes -
Ignore Traffic Option for Real Time Road Closures
For Real Time Road Closures, please add the option to "Ignore segment traffic". Currently if there is any traffic detected on a Closed segment, the Closure will be put into Suspend mode. This can be problematic since some Waze users choose to ignore a closure, because they can't "see" any backed up traffic due to the closure, and will cause the closure to be paused until enough traffic has been stopped behind the closure and the segment detects no more movement. Jurassic Park Vehicles!
I'm currently sporting the Ecto-1 vehicle, but what I really want is to cruise around in Jurassic Park vehicles. The Jeeps and Explorers are just so iconic. I also wouldn't mind having the option to be a big old T-Rex.

Screensaver
In Ontario/Canada as per Highway & Traffic Act, it is illegal to use smartphone/device without hands free operation, and police have stated that submitting status info on apps such as Waze is illegal as per Act and grounds for ticket for not driving “hands free”. Fine for doing so (and using Waze) and distracted driving is currently over $600-800 and 3’demerit points.
Of course I observe police cruisers driving with hands on computer console violating traffic act.
It would be great to have a screensaver (blank screen or other) that could be quickly toggled on Waze display (phone and/or CarPlay)…

Waze should stop after disconnecting from car play
Waze starts automatically after connecting to carplay, but doesn’t turn off automatically after disconnecting from carplay. It should turn off automatically based on proximity to destination + carplay disconnect + optional couple minutes delay :) I think this will be a better user experience and will improve battery life of the user. I saw a few threads on reddit about this issue but without a solution.

Use Traffic Light as Reference to Turn
Tell users where to make a turn such as "at the light" or "the next light" like Apple Maps. This is better than suggesting to turn in # of miles.

Improvement in the application
I loved the app. Beyond that, I would like to focus on improving or adding features like chatting with other Waze users so that they can notify each other in a separate section when there are problems downloading maps for when they are offline in different places, being able to post real profile pictures of the same users, drivers or runners, inform about the weather in the area, after all, good. I really liked this app 5 stars.

Enable voice alert when approaching speed bumps
Hello Waze Team,
It would be so helpful for all Wazers to receive Voice alerts when approaching a speed bump so that we can prepare ourselves to slow down before approaching the speed bumps, as actually speed bumps has been added but it does not appear or notify you via voice alert that we are nearing a speed bump.
Grateful to look into adding voice alert when approaching speed bumps.

Add Voice Typing to the main screen. Google Assistant just does not work for searching, VT is much more better.
Add Waze's Voice Typing to the main screen for searching locations. Google Assistant just does not work for non-english city names. Sometimes you cannot even translate them. Voice Typing is much more better.

Disallowing drivers to collect points
Do not allow drivers to collect points while driving. I see it as accident hazard. Please care about passenger safety.

More kid friendly voices. Eg lightning McQueen or Mater
My son loves the special voices but there isn’t many kids ones. I was thinking lightning McQueen or Mater would be cool and funny

Street name below the location icon.
It is a serious flaw that Waze does not show the street name below the navigation icon. This is only displayed when the "go to" navigation is activated. In common use, the street name is never displayed and this makes it very difficult for the user to know which street they are traveling on or if they are in the right place. Waze needs to fix this. Another tip is that when we are traveling on a road, Waze should indicate the city we are passing through. This is also very important for better localization and a better user experience.

Speedometer size in Landscape mode
Please enlarge the speedometer in LANDSCAPE MODE [portrait is fine] and preferably make it movable. Barring 'movable' just enlarge it. Got a bit older you see [not 20 any more] - it would be very useful if I can see it properly - double the size would be good [or custom] :) TY (y)

Peanuts voice
Those who are peanuts by Schultz fans and snoopyholics such as myself, would appreciate the peanuts gang voices as navigation such as Charlie Brown, Linus & lucy, Schroeder maybe even patty mayonnaise. This would be great For adults and kids, considering the fact that peanuts have had several movies in all different seasons Easter summer and all the others, it will be a real great idea.
