Stau
I have a big problem with how you're made aware of detours when navigating with Waze - namely, not at all. It just selects the route and when you start navigation it says that route XY is shorter than XY. If you now drive a familiar route and you only have the navigation on for convenience, you're simply told that you should leave the highway if there's a traffic jam, but you don't find out the reason. This is very confusing. Normally, the announcement should be something like, "Traffic jam ahead, please exit in X kilometers to take a detour."…

CHANGE STOPPING SIDE OF VEHICLE IN AUSTRALIA.
When using WAZE to follow mapping for directions to an address in Australia. Currently the Waze system calculates the stop with the right side of vehicle at the stop meaning vehicles either park illegally or have to make an adjustment to stop. In Australia we are meant by law to stop on the LEFT side of the carriageway to park etc, NOT the right.

Access Phone’s Calendar from Apple CarPlay
At the moment, you can access your iPhone’s calendar from the Waze app on the iPhone. This allows you to select the calendar item from Waze, and then Waze will automatically commence navigation to the address associated with the calendar entry.
Unfortunately this same feature isn’t available from Waze within Apple CarPlay.
This feature enhancement request is to request the same calendar access ability from Waze in the iPhone app is made available on the Waze Apple CarPlay app,
That way, you can get in your car, and from Apple CarPlay Waze, select the calendar entry appointment you are driving…

Add 'stop nav' main button
When selecting 'back' the app offers only 'cancel' or 'shutdown'. I often want to stop navigation, select another destination, select another route. Selecting 'shutdown' just bails out of the app completely! It needs 'stop nav' in addition to cancel & shutdown.

Inform the road's maintenance company regarding the shoulders
It could've been helpfull to inform the road's maintenance company regarding the shoulders, such as: garbage, wild vegetation, vandalism (graffiti) etc.

More reportables
There are a few more reportables needed. We need one for mobile speed cameras and one for reporting where there is road works and the speed limits, because it could change your route.

When you using waze on landscape mode and starting route, your car symbol goes to bottom right. Please fix it and let it stay in bottom center.

Vehicule type shorcutcut
Hi!
I often switch between motorbike and private car.
The ETA is different because of traffic jam.
It could be easier and faster if we could make an ios shortcut wich could switch it.
Then with an automation like when you plug any carplay device, switch to private car. and when you unplug it, switch again to motorbike.ChatGPT told me to do it opening url with devicetype but its doesnt work.

Waze should delete road warnings automatically as there are thousands that are clustered and out of date.delete every 2 or three days at
Delete old road warning every 2 or 3 days. out of date, drivers are not maintaining.

És referent a què en l'idioma castellà, durant el trajecte, anomena tots els noms dels carrers per on passes, en canvi, en català no menciona els noms dels carrers.

Incident pop ups
The pop up incidents are blocking the turn by turn making me miss exits on freeways. Can you move them to lower right side of screen so they don’t block the turn by turn on upper left side of screen? Plus they stay on screen WAY TOO LONG. It’s a bit distracting for the driver.

More voice warning before freeway exits, regardless of speed
I noticed that the location of the voice instruction you hear before a freeway exit varies based on how fast you're going.
Around 100 km/h, you get the voice instruction 1.5 kilometres before your exit.
Around 80 km/h, you get the voice warning about 1 km before the exit.
Around 60 km/h, you get the warning just 300 metres before the exit.It's the last one that I think is a problem. Some drivers rely mostly on the voice instructions either because we don't have a phone stand or because of restrictive laws regarding phone use while driving. And if…

Traffic Study Data - and use of data for traffic modeling
I am on the Master Plan Implementation Committee in Westborough, MA. We are a municipality of 20K residence. We are currently looking at traffic congestion issues in the center of the town. I was hoping WAZE could produce traffic reports with data on cars entering the town center and exiting so we can determine if building alternate routes around the bottle neck are warranted.
Our assumption is that a majority of the traffic is through traffic for other communities commuting to major highways.
