PERMANENTLY disable sounds including after updates
Stop turning the damn sound/ voice back on with every f-ing update. We turn that crap off for a reason and I am getting tired of resetting the sounds to OFF with every f-ing update!

Waze crashes on Lenovo K910
I have a problem, Waze keeps crashing on my Lenovo K910. It starts then shuts down.
My Waze version is 3.9.0.0 and my Android version is 4.4.2 with VIBEUIV2.014437.67.1ST_K910.

Advanced config option: GPS inaccuracy tolerance
So I'm currently using a rather cheap chinese android phone with an abyssimal GPS system. Even though it reports 5 meters of GPS accuracy, the exact position jumps all over the place, maybe in a 100m radius.
This confuses the hell out of waze, and I get teleported all over the surrounding neighborhood while driving.
Maybe it would be possible to add an advanced configuration option to fine-tune waze's location-estimation-algorithm?
Something along the lines of "if the GPS position fluctuates by X meters in Y seconds, assume that the user is still on the recommended route, or at least hasn't…2 votes -
Advanced config options: GPS reboot cycle time
Some phones need quite some time, after powering the GPS system on and off, to get a lock. It seems to me that waze, after not detecting a GPS lock after X seconds, power-cycles the GPS subsystem.
It would be great (and very easy to add?) if there were some advanced config option to configure this behaviour, and select after how much time waze power-cycles the GPS system.2 votes -
In need of parking
Sometimes I get somewhere and then I have to look for a parking lot or a parking space and I lose a lot of time. I think it might be a good idea to suggest the parking lots that are close by before arriving or even at the beginning of the ride ask if finding a parking space will be necessary (if rates could be added, that would be great as well)

say im at a red light
My idea is for the waze app. I was using my waze and while I was driving and I stopped at a stop light. Waze asked me if I was stuck in traffic cause it noticed that I'm not moving and it doesn't let me say ithat im stuck at a red light.

Be able to add friends, send messages and report (accidents, police, etc.) from the computer version
My husband is a truck driver. The weather is bad and we are both on Waze. I can't follow him unless I'm on my lap top. I can see other Waze users around him. Somebody sent a message to him asking how the roads were if they were clear, etc. He obviously cannot type or send a message. It would be GREAT if I could click to add the user that asked him a question or just send a message to her answering her question. AND he just witness a wreck. Road conditions are bad so I want to click…

To have a approximated distance for traffic
i was just thinking it would be nice to either have an audible voice or something pop up with an approximate distance when your in traffic. Cause I know when I come up on it the 1st thing I'm doing is thumbing up the screen to see how far.

lock screen orientation
My screen is constantly flipping and tumbling while I'm on the move, making the visual map virtually useless. A simple option to lock orientation in the app would solve this.

Change how road numbers are spoken in the UK
Speaking the A5183, for example, as "A fifty-one eighty-three" is confusing, since everybody I know calls it the "A five one eight three". The rules are a bit complicated, it's true, as we do use this pattern for two digit road numbers, three digit ending in 0, and roads ending in 00 or 000. But in all other cases we just speak the individual digits.
So
"A five"; "A ten"; "A sixty-six"; "A two hundred"; "A one thousand"; "A six fifty"; but "A six four seven"; "M six oh six" ; "A six oh three seven".7 votes -
Drop a pin for reporting wrong location
Sometimes the app directions are a bit off. When I arrive at a place and Waze thinks I haven't arrived to the location yet, it would be nice to be able to drop a pin and report the location. Right now it is a bit cumbersome to report so much of the time I just don't report the error at all.

Incorporate Buses
Be able to report a public bus sighting by typing in the bus number on the back so people who take the bus can see approximately where it is at and how close it is to the stop you are at.

Flag when route contains tolls
Yesterday I was going from Kfar Saba to Tel Aviv in the morning and the route ended costing me over a 150 NIS.
I often use Waze and trust it so I put in the address and followed the route. At some point I realized that it was taking me to Road 6 (which I didn't want to take because I am with a rental car at the moment and they charge extra) it was too late to turn back at that point so I proceeded. Only to discover that the route was now taking me to the fast lane…

It would be cool if you could partner with gas buddy.
No offense to your app (or those that contribute prices) but when it comes to gas prices I've found that gas buddy is a little more reliable when it comes to current prices. And I think it would benefit both you and gas buddy if you combine your data.

Mojio OBD cellular GPS
There is a new device called Mojio www.moj.io on the market. It's an obd reader with a GPS and a cellular module. They have an SKD and API and I think it could be cool to include this in waze. Few things it could do with waze.
For trip that you forget to open waze it could automaticly use the mojio gps and this way get trafic information for others.
You could always know where your car is parked in waze.
Waze could notify you after a trip if you forget to lock doors.

Report "Good" road conditions
When I report "bad" road conditions, it helps drivers around me avoid an area. Sometimes, when I reach an area that is reported as "bad" it turns out to actually be less congested or jammed up than reported earlier.
It would be very beneficial to everyone using the app if we could report when a road has good conditions. This would meet the goal of providing real time map updates that benefit everyone looking to see what route is best for them based on the conditions.
