Off-road Trail Map Capability, the road less traveled.
There are a couple of very expensive off-road trail GPS devices for State and non OHV areas but I would love to see WAZE get into at least BLM/OHV and Fire road type of mapping.
Way points and even names of the trails. I live in California where there is many trails that the state regulates along with adopted programs from off road clubs. I'd buy an upgraded app for my WAZE if this was an option.

Allow default sharing of route to android share rather than internal sharing mechanism
Currently sharing is done to an alphabetical user list from my contacts. This is of course kind of silly since most of us use waze for navigation but not as a means of communication. I would like to see the old sharing back as default (share via other app), or even better - remember which app i used last to share and offer it as default. In the past 4 years I have shared my ride not via whatsapp only once, and that was into facebook chat.

Add Shazam to the Waze app
I love to use the Waze.app while I'm driving and especially on long road trips. But I find myself switching to Shazam whenever I hear a song on the radio that I want to identify and it can be difficult to switch back and forth between apps while driving on the highway. Can you add the ability to Shazam a song within the Waze.app and show the song title and artist on the map and if I click on it go to the Shazam app?

Waze can put Road view into the GPS so that we could know which is the Exit in the Highway. I saw other such as Garmin and Papago did.
Waze could put road view like example if theres 2 exits, a picture of the roads could appear With an arrow to should which road so we wont miss out.

An announcement that indicates when you're halfway to your destination would be best. Could also extend and say 3/4 of the way there or just almost there! Type announcement.

Traffic Signal Integration
This is a huge undertaking but would be an awesome feature. Waze would have the ability to know when traffic signals are red and green based on Wazers. It can detect a Wazer ahead is stopped at an intersection, and can warn others behind that the signal is Red. This may also impact ETAs as well. In high volume cities like LA, this would be a feasible idea especially during rush hour. However, it may not be realistic at times of lower volume. This could save time, allow for smarter decisions, save gas, and be greener for the entire world!

Buttons for separated elevated road
Add buttons which asks user where did the user go like in Philippines skyway(separated elevated road) and SLEX which is underneath it and reroute the navigation accordingly.

Beacon
I am a cyclist and I would love to be able to put my phone in a beacon mode which will allow users of this app to be notified when I am close by. This concept could be used for runners, walkers, bikers, and any other activity that is near or on roadways.

Create an event destination where all shares their destinations
I would like to extend the already existing http://waze.to feature so that I can enter an address instead of a pure GUID. Maybe this would look like:
http://waze.to/?ll=38.62464092991612,-90.1847612857818&EventID=GUIDThis would make it possible to auto generate links for my kids sports events and the sport clubs web-page. Like "We are having a game this weekend at arena X. Use this link to navigate: http://waze.to/?ll=38.62464092991612,-90.1847612857818&EventID=123456789"
Everybody that push that link will automatically share their destinations, and there will be no information like "Adam shares this drive". If sport-clubs starts automate this method, the usages of Waze will be higher
