  1. Have real residents of certain cities volunteer for giving directions around their cities

    I think it would be cool to have voice directions from real residents of cities to tell you where you're going. For example, I'm from Houston, TX, and I would love to do the voice directions for my city, especially since I can pronounce some of the stranger-named streets and roads.

  4. Create an APP called Sub-WAZE, PUT rfi tags on each engine and track. NYC!!!

  5. Cortège mariage (Wedding processions route

    Here is my idea why not create a tab specifically for weddings to follow the route of the procession or the car of the bridegroom to not lose during the procession.

  6. Who at Waze wrote the memo that things must be hard.

    All I want Waze to do is get me from point A to B. This morning was in a rush, typed in mr destination address and I was then directed to input info. into Facebook and other social media. I divorced myself from Facebook years ago. They are a dog breath outfit. Why would Waze send me there?

    There was no exit button, no way for me to get out of this so I logged off and got my direction from Google map.

    Just make things simple, just give directions.

  7. I CANNOT RECOVERY MY ACCOUNT

    I try to open my account in other device. Somehow, the device get stuck… when I went back to my original device, my account was locked. I try to get a code to unblock it, but no email get to my inbox… I tried several times with no success. Therefore, I try to open a new account with my previous email (gmail), the waze system did not allow me saying that the email is already used by another user….. what a loop..!!! I have seen several users with the issue…

  10. Allow no background process until waze gets turned on.

    I will uninstall waze if the background process restarts everytime i kill the background process. If i do not want it to run in the background, then that may have a very good reason. It freakin annoys me as fuck that it starts itself even when my phone got switched off.

  12. Suggestions to Improve Waze UX/UI on Carplay

    Two things I've noticed are causing issues (for me, personally at least) when using Waze for CarPlay.

    1) I have to continually enter the zoom menu to zoom back down to the right distance...not ALL the time, but enough that I think it's probably a bug, and just wanted to mention it.

    and most importantly...

    2) The Notification/alert system is fundamentally broken IMO, because it essentially hijacks the navigation screen. It removes the arrival time, time remaining in your trip, and the distance you have left in your trip. These are details that I personally don't want to disappear for…

    When Waze Iphone Output is HFP (as bluetooth phone call),
    Waze should listen to Iphone Mic for Voice Commands.
    Currently Voice Input not working when output HFP.

  17. Aliases for waze

    Simple but extremely useful. I think that you should add Aliases option. For example, if I want to travel to my friend Michael, I'll write "Michael" in the search bar or say "Michael" to the voice search and my friends house will be the first option.

  18. Who is the JERK that took away the Prevent auto-lock option???

    I just switched phones (Note 3 to a Note 9). Incoming calls now take over Waze screen, which may or may not come back after call. WTF??? Why has the Prevent auto-lock functionality been removed???

    I love having foreign voices announce my trip on Waze. Why not have an option that immediately follows the foreign voice into English (or another language) to help me learn the first language. This could then be even further expanded to read places, shops etc and teach another language while we drive!
