A "facing other direction" button at start of navigation.
A "facing other direction" button at start of navigation. You don't need to get GPS involved or have anything automatic. Just to start navigation the opposite direction.

Bring Back Catriona Gray's Voice
I suggest you to bring back Catriona Gray's voice because many people have enjoyed listening to her voice. Her voice sounds very good and helps drivers to help themselves keep calm while dealing with the road. Other people also missed their opportunity to use her voice while it is still available. I'm hoping you will bring back her voice. Thank you so much!

need to have other buttons added
Need a pause button. So if you do a side trip it isn't trying to get you back on the track every 15 seconds.
also would like a repeat last instruction button. Traveling down the road with radio on for 15 minutes. Then suddenly you hear the tail end of an instruction, but have no idea what the opening direction was.
in sum: 1 pause button and 1 repeat last instruction button.

Carbon CO2 footprint
in order to reduce the carbon CO2 footprint it would be nice if you could calculate estimated time not only based on the speed limits and current traffic-load. I.e. set the max speed to 90 km/h will reduce the carbon footprint with almost 30 % on longer trips, you could have this as an individual choice. As example I hade average 4,5 liter per 100 Km on a 330 km drive instead of 6,8 when drive within speed limit 110/120 km/h it take 30 minutes longer but it´s much calmer and less stress.

Fix sunset dark/night mode toggling multiple times per day
When driving before sunset, Waze switches from its day to night mode a little bit before sunset...then it switches back to day...then to night...then to day... On my drive tonight (headed west on I-20 toward Shreveport, LA), it toggled back & forth 15-20 times before finally settling in on night mode.
I recommend adding some hysteresis into the switching that matches/compliments how you calculate the sunset proximity. Once Waze switches to its night display in the evening or it switches to the day display in the morning, it shouldn't switch back (you know, as long as you're on the same…

Adjust the font size on Apple Carplay when viewing the suggested routes
The font is too big on the suggested routes page on Apple Carplay meaning that it's not possible to see the journey time and distance for each of the suggested routes. The text is truncated. I have to unplug my phone from the car to see the full route information.
Please reformat the text on the suggested routes page on Carplay so the information is not truncated.5 votes -
Waze profile integration with website
Ability to sync browser with app - so you can manage icons, favorites, plan trips/multi leg routes before getting into the car. Much easier to plan with multiple browser windows open looking up destinations, locations.
Also, favorites folders/categorization so a road trip can be planned with one-time destinations that can be managed/deleted after the road trip has been completed.

Autovelox and Speed section control
I have two suggestion about it...
it would be so much greater if all the autovelox were reported every time also if we run under the limit, because if for any reason after the no ringtone pop up I go over I have no notification about the autovelox... it will be su much easier and safer if was introduced the possibility to enable an all time notificationfor the section control speed you must integrated a average speed in the section and improve the where the section start and finish

Please please ADD Grand Parkway (Highway 99) and Hardy Toll Road for us Houston TX residents.

Add a wireless OBD2 sensor for additional vehicle safety information
Suggest adding a wireless Bluetooth OBD2 device (BlueDriver or OBDLink MX+) so Waze can access safety features from your vehicle such as:
1. Blind spot warning
2. Accidental lane departure
3. Show when turn signals are on - for those that forget - optional beep after 5 seconds and before my wife says “YOUR BLINKERS ON!!!”
4. Etc.Option - For lane departure and blind spot warning above - when the two are triggered the Waze display or the hud display below could kick in the appropriate mirror camera video (if the vehicle has mirror cameras) so you see the…

Drop a pin (as you're driving)
I want the option to drop a pin as I'm driving, which is then saved on my map. The pin would be saved at the location I'm at whenever I click the 'pin' button.
Then I can edit these pins by name, color, etc. Maybe even the navigation can tell me when I'm close to a pin.

Add/Remove Categories for Map Editors
There are quite a few missing "obvious" categories, such as Self Storage, Tobacco/Vaping shop, Headshops, Equipment rental (Not just car), Towing service, Motels (Even though you have hotel) etc.
There are also a few redundant categories, like "Pool" and "Swimming Pool".
