Persistent overview mode
I want the option to leave the map in overview mode instead of the current setting where it automatically snaps back to point of view mode after a few seconds. Maybe add a countdown timer button for when it snaps back that I can tap to cancel the snap back and leave it in overview mode.

אפשרות לדמות מיקום לרכב
במצבים מסוימים, למשל פקק, קיימת בפני הנהג האפשרות לנסות "לברוח" מן המסלול ולצאת ביציאה הקרובה או לפנות בפניה הקרובה.
נכון להיום אם הנהג יעשה זאת הוא יצטרך לקחת הימור מבלי לדעת האם "בריחה" מהמסלול תקצר את מסלולו או תאריך אותו.אני מציע להוסיף אפשרות לדמות את מיקום הרכב על ידי הנחת רכב על המפה, כמו בגוגל מפות כשמניחים את האיש הקטן על המפה בשביל לקבל תצוגת רחוב של מיקום מסויים.
בנוסף אני מציע שליד הרכב הקטן שניתן להניח יהיו 2 חצים לכיוונים השונים של התנועה במידה והכביש הוא דו סיטרי כדי לבחור את המיקום של הרכב בכיוון הנסיעה הנכון.אחרי…

Please add support for In app immersive mode, because from android 11 the global immersive mode is disabled.

Shortcut links addresses from Google Chrome(and other browsers) to Waze app
If you Google to a address and use Waze as default, it will be easy to open it directly in Waze instead of copy and paste it in Waze, especially when you use AndroidAuto.

Some report suggestions, vehicle options, route options for the Waze Team
Just some ideas please address:
• the thanks and not there options for apple car play to not automatically disappear until 2 miles approx. distance passed(or provide an option for the user to change that delay) beyond the reported icon there is some delay in when they appear
• A new icon for the flooding hazard, as well as blueing a path to show on gps and gps to warn or detour upon suddenly appearing at some point in calculating route before after during etc
• Allowing users start/ end of long traffic icon , include system detection for drivers…

Accessibility improvements for people with visual disabilities
The Waze app used to be mostly accessible for use with screen readers like VoiceOver for iPhone by people with visual disabilities, such as blindness. However, now the tabs at the bottom are no longer recognised or read by the screen reader. Only location searches and selecting from a list of recent locations are accessible with the screen reader. Please improve the accessibility of this app for use with screen readers And refer to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 for guidance on making these improvements. Thank you

Send push notification of danger / police when waze isnt open.
Hi, so let's say you get in your car, you're just going to Walmart. You know where walmart is.. so you don't open waze. There's a cop/ object on road on your road. Waze sends u a push notification alerting you even if it's not actively open on your phone.
Yes this will waste battery but hear me out.
You can make it where you choose what kinds of alerts you want while "offline" and to save battery you can code the app to launch in the background only while driving. So it's not always a background process wasting battery. …3 votes -
when you're on a highway riding fast and there is a traffic jam ahead - waze alert us
its very scray that your riding on speed limit on a highway not knowing that there is traffic jam ahead, waze should alert us before so we could break more easily
