Ability to Adjust navigation volume
Waze needs the ability to adjust navigation volume level when Waze isn't saying something. Google maps has this option in Android Auto if you go to settings and play test navigation audio. Then you can adjust the vehicle's navigation volume level.

Buon giorno, vorrei proporre un suggerimento, poter cambiare il colore del percorso da seguire ,quando è impostata una destinazione, attualmente è di colore viola, se si usa la mappa predefinita, e abbastanza ben visibile, ma se si usa la mappa chiamata “gli editor della mappa” il colore viola del percorso da seguire non si distingue bene tra i colori della mappa, io suggerirei di trovare un colore che spicca meglio usando questa mappa , o in alternativa sarebbe bello poter personalizzare il colore del percorso, così come posso scegliere il tipo icona auto, poter scegliere il colore del percorso tra…

latest waze version in Android Auto is a disaster
So the lates waze version was so frustrating, that I uninstalled it and went back a version.
1. The map is very slow - if you try to move the map around to see what's ahead it moves very slow and advances very little.
2. The Navigation menu, that was once located in a rectangle in the lower left part of the screen is no longer pressable. As a result the menu it self, that it once had ,are now permanently on the screen. But the moved to the far side from the driver. to the top right side. The…5 votes -
Android Auto update hurts the eyes
The new updated look for Waze Android Auto is a massive downgrade. The black contrast during the day strains the eyes and takes up a lot of space on the display. The decreased size of highway sign numbers, speedometer indicator, and speed limit indicators are very hard to read. Waze has been my primary navigation app for 5+ years but the switch is so hard to use, it has me going to Google Maps but I miss Waze. Please give an option to revert back, or please make some adjustments.

Bugs in the new version
After android auto/waze was updated to the latest version, I see many bugs there:
1) When I disconnect the phone from the car, application remains working on the phone. In previous version it wasn't the case;
2) Hey google is not working anymore on the new version. On older version understood voice commands;
3) New black squares on the screen hides half of the route? Why have you added them? Maybe it would be better to add it to transparent box?
4) If you enjoy the current layout, maybe the user can choose, which layout should stay on his screen?…5 votes -
Fix the Waze app display to it's original display
Currently the display is matching google maps display cluster. It is hard to see the entire map during navigation. The old speed limit bigger character size and circle size was replaced with a small box with 4x lower character size, almost impossible to read. Remove the display update and return it to the old display and functionality. Please!

Android Auto Coolwalk View Tile
I was happy to see that Waze could now do split screen on Android Auto. My only feedback so far is if you are using Waze for navigation the "next step" at the top and the estimated ETA at the bottom take up a big portion of the screen. The next step at the top covers the up coming route. On the full screen you are still able to see the route ahead and any upcoming issues. When using the split screen view in Coolwalk before setting a destination the top right quarter of my screen defaulted to quick access…

When I connect my phone to Android Auto, do not force me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen
Version 4.93.5.11 for Android forces me to display Waze on my car's infotainment screen. When I connect my phone to my car, I prefer to display Google Maps on the infotainment screen (via Android Auto) and display Waze on my phone's screen. That way, Waze provides me to with look-ahead traffic alerts, but Google Maps is available for navigation, adding side trips, etc.
However, with this latest version of Waze, once I connect my phone, Waze displays on the phone's screen a message directing me to my car's infotainment screen and Android Auto.
I can still run Google Maps on…

good morning, the suggestion concerns waze on android auto. if the driver does not carry the subject of the ztl permit he must first delete the ztl permit on waze on the phone and reconnect it to android auto. very uncomfortable. waze may ask if the route or destination crosses a ztl zone ask if the configured permission has been used? It's important that to be able to view upcoming directions. I often use this feature on the phone to be better prepared on my trip. Suggested routes are not always clear just from their titles and it can be important to look at the directions for each route to make an informed decision. The fact that you cannot access ways on the phone when in the car makes this feature completely unusable even if you're sitting in your car prior to leaving on your trip or if you pull to the side of the road. Some bugs encountered with the application
I use Waze very frequently for my work. Both as a GPS and as an assistant for road hazards.
I've noticed a few anomalies in Android Auto.When I approach a speed camera, Waze informs me about it and the distance. As soon as I have passed the zone, the "Speed camera" indication remains on the screen and Waze does not provide any other information.

Danger zone entry and exit icons with Android Auto in France
Hello,
Would it be possible to improve the announcement of danger zones for France (because in our country, announcing the precise location of speed cameras is prohibited!)?
The ideal would be to have an icon when you enter and another icon when you leave a danger zone in addition to the voice announcement and the small frame at the top left.
If we could also have on the road, a color associated with danger zones as in the style of traffic announcements, to best indicate the duration of the zone.Other applications like Tomtom do so why not Waze!

Make ETA and Remaining Time always visible when using Android Auto
Some alerts are shown over the ETA and remaining time box.
For me it is more important to have the ETA and remaining time always visible than receiving some of these alerts.
Maybe the ETA box could squeeze to the bottom of the screen when the alerts are shown.
It is very practical to have this information always visible when receiving a call or checking if it is possible to wait to use a better bathroom ahead on the road.4 votes -
Android Auto parked location
On Android Auto, Google maps pops up a little box that you tick to save your parking location. Not ideal but it works. I would rather have it work automatically. But it's better than nothing. Which is what Waze has. Waze has no option on Android Auto to save a parking location. Automatic or otherwise. The Carplay version of Waze does this. Please implement.
