Create your own route
Let me draw a line on the roads I want to go and it creates that route.

Go back to the old format. The attempt at Whitty Banner at the end of each direction not so good. Very annoying in fact.
The new voice is very annoying. The witty banter ant attempt there of at the end of each direction, horrible.
The new update does not tell me the name of the street to turn on for the number of the freeway exit to take. Instead, I get turning .3 miles. I have a pretty good clue on what .3 miles is however driving in San Francisco. there could be five different turns within .5 miles and without looking at my phone I’ll take the wrong turn. Hope you guys can figure this out. Otherwise I’m gone.1 vote -
Misleading Parking Suggestion
Dear Waze Team,
I would like to file a complaint regarding an extremely misleading parking suggestion made by your app.
On July 31st, I was using Waze to navigate to the Atomium in Brussels. The app directed me to an open parking area near the Trade Mart building. I followed the recommendation, unaware that this parking lot charges a flat rate of €10 — even if you stay for just 30 minutes, as I did.
There was no price indication or warning in the app, and had I been informed, I would have easily chosen a cheaper alternative nearby. I…

Waze caminhões
Olá. O Waze poderia implantar um recurso para GPS para caminhões, tipo areas restritas, rodízios, vias que tem espaço para caminhões longos como carreta, acredito que esse recurso iria ajudar milhares de motoristas caminhoneiros como eu.

road trip attractions
add attractions like "horses to the right, or xxxxx monument on the left in .2 miles" would be nice for the passengers to be looking forward to seeing some ponies or cows on a roadtrip & not miss them (ik personally they are my fave parts of roadtrips!)

Ao iniciar uma navegação, ser mais ágil. Indo direto para a navegação já solicitada, não sendo necessário aguardar um tempo a mais. Isso para motorista de aplicativo (por exemplo) atrapalha/atrasa muito. Qualquer segundo a mais, é uma eternidade para nós, agilidade é o que precisamos

Beep option in navigation
Hi Waze,
I have a good idea for your app. Personally, I find it quite annoying to have the sound on, because the navigation talks too much. But since I also don’t want to miss my exit on the highway while on vacation, I thought it would be a great idea to have an option where, whenever you need to take action (e.g. exit the highway), you simply hear a beep.
This beep would let you know that you should take a quick look at the screen. Of course, it’s important that it’s not an annoying beep, but rather a…

Add option to avoid specific streets in navigation
Sometimes I want to avoid a specific street or area due to police controls, protests, or personal reasons. These are not always reported in Waze, so the app doesn’t know to avoid them.
I suggest adding a setting where users can select certain streets or zones to avoid, either temporarily or permanently. This way, Waze can calculate alternate routes that respect these preferences.
It could be similar to the existing “Avoid tolls” or “Avoid highways” options, but more customizable. Maybe a long-press on the map or a list where we add “Streets to Avoid”.

seria muy bueno que informaran sobre los carriles y el horario de restriccion por buses en el centro de alajuela cerca de la terminal de tuasa y terminal de fecosa porque lo pueden multar a uno y le pueden quitar las placas yo creo por favor contactesen con las autoridades para obtener mas informacion. Pendant la navigation L'icône de position en bas de l'écran passe subitement au centre de l'écran à l'approche d'une intersection ou rond point.
Ceci est très perturbant et impossible à suivre la navigation en cours.
Peut-on supprimer ce changement de position en milieu d'écran.

My suggestion is that when the first turn you come to is the correct turn, the arrow showing the direction of the turn would flash or change color, say green. A more advanced option is that if it's not the first turn, the arrow showing the turn, not the first, would be red.1 vote -
Exit ramp closed
Allow users who report an exit ramp closed with a quick click. Add it to the options in the section of lane closures to make it easy.

Throw out speeding data from ETA.
Please add an option that does not factor vehicles driving over the speed limit into ETA. It would be nice to have an accurate arrival time if you are not driving above the speed limit.

Allow navigation settings to be adjusted per trip
Sometimes you want freeways and sometimes you don’t. Allow option to choose per trip without having to change global setting each time.

Reroute automatically, without asking for permission, when a faster route is found
Even though I (or some other user) already chose a preference for the fastest route, a user's permission gets asked-for when a possible reroute is found. Why?? It's distracting and takes our attention off the road, which is dangerous.
Since I've already preferred the fastest route, just do it, and tell me I'm being rerouted in order to save X minutes.
