Navigation visual alert
Usually we navigate without voice direction, and it is easy then to miss next exit on highway, for example..
A visual blinking alert about 15 sec before would be great.2 votes -
Reminder that Avoid Motorways is switched on
Some users will only turn on Avoid Motorways for a particular journey or day of travel, and afterwards the user would prefer to use motorways again.
The time difference between a motorway and non-motorway journey is usually significant, and so when the app is reopened and Avoid Motorways is still switched on, it would be useful to have a reminder, for example: "these routes are avoiding motorways - the fastest route using motorways is 54 minutes shorter", with a "use Motorways" and an "avoid motorways" button, and a checkbox for "Don't show this reminder again" for those users who wish…

Correct Address
My address does not take people to the correct location. My address is 30 Winchester Gardens Carlisle PA 17013. Waze takes people over to Crain Drive. My address is off Rellim Street.

Finding housing
Hey I had an idea for your app. Its kinda off the wall but i feel could be potentially beneficial. The idea is adding a marking feature and instead of it being a cop, traffic jam, construction, etc; what if you added a feature for housing, like to mark houses or places for sale or rent. Now obviously there's really no details linked to it, but it would allow people to see places for rent or sale in an area and the mark would atleast put them on the street where the initial mark was made.

Waze for deaf people
It would be great if Waze added some sort of subtitles to the voice command so deaf people could also have guidance on that. Or even a specific sound that causes the vibration they need to understand it is an alert

To be able to navigate to an event on your calendar when using Android Auto
To be able to tap on the address on my calendar and have it connect to android auto to navigate right to that address. Rather than having to manually type it in on android auto

Give the option to say I entered the express lane or not
Every morning Waze says to use the express lane. I usually don’t need to. In the afternoon I am not told to use the express lane. I almost always need to. If I could say when I entered it or not Waze could get better data to suggest when I will need the express lane

Stray dog notification
If there is a frequent stray dog in a specific location Waze will alert the user a few hundreds meters ahead

Allow for navigation correction.
Allow users to input navigation corrections.
For instance:
if the Waze app says turn left and there is a barrier preventing it.
Waze app says to turn the wrong way on a one way street.

Select what hazards to hear
Allow the user to select what notifications to hear. I don’t care about stopped cars but I do about objects on the road or police.
Most notifications are for stopped cars and I honestly have turned off all notifications and just hope I see relevant info on the map.
Needs to work with CarPlay etc as well.

Road speed option
In motorcycle it does not avoid highways very well. Have an option to select the speed(and avobe) of the road you would like to avoid. Example avoid all roads that have a speed limit of 45mph or higher

Recents already Favorites
Recents that are Favorites clearly indicated as such... sometimes I attempt to add a favorite that has already been made.... annoying

Would like to see a alert option for MTO enforcement.
Similar on how to report police, would be nice to be able to report mto commercial vehicle enforcement. Also would be nice to be able for the reporting wazer to be able to move reporting postion, often it ends up not being accurate.

Any alternative to Not There?
Any alternative to asking drivers if police is still there or not?
It’s risky:
1. Distraction while driving.
2. Police might detain us using phone while reporting their presence.Similarly, asking if stopped vehicle is there or not. Risky.

Directions for longer drives.
You should allow availability to get directions for longer drives, i. e. to other States.

Route Optimizer
In Waze you enter multiple addresses, then you pick up your start destination.
Waze resolves your Route with shortest time or kilometers.
After you finish the first route, if you are in Route Optimizer, and start Waze, Waze automatically picks the next optimized route and so on with the third and next entered destinations. I know there is a planner but when the time is up, the destination is gone from the history.2 votes -

Vancouver Lower mainland has a map of all speed and red light cameras. Please add these to the map.
Please use speed camera /red light camera maps put out by the Province of BC to update the Greater Vancouver map.
