New option in voice options
Add a new option for the “voice options” witch wil give the users the option to only hear navigation instructions without any other warning

Nous sommes nombreux, comme en atteste les divers commentaires sur les réseaux sociaux, à vouloir profiter des instructions vocales données par Omar Da Fonseca et Benjamin da Silva en dehors des frontières de la France métropolitaine. Serait-il possible de rendre cette voix disponible en Belgique ?

Option for turning off "volume dip" when reporting
Every time you hit the orange button to make a report, it does something I call "volume dip". That is where if you're listening to something like Spotify or Pandora, the volume decreases for a few seconds. What is the point of this??? I mean... I'm a happy as anyone to get +5 points or whatever, but there is absolutely no reason for it to interrupt your music!! App developers, please fix this problem, it can't be that hard!

Country local voice for street names
Would like to have an option to pronounce street names in local (to the current position) languages, regardless of the application and it’s voice/language settings. I’ve drawn through several countries and it quite difficult to find right turn or lane at road signs, following “funny pronounced” voice instructions. However, would like to keep main navigation instructions as well as information messages in select language. Can this be implemented via using combination of native voice an TTS, automatically selected, based on GEO position?

Option to Disable Waze from Lowering Music Volume, Especially When Music is Playing on Car Speakers over Bluetooth and Waze on Phone Speaker
Please give users to ability to stop Waze from hijacking the audio and lowering music being played. This is especially sensible when music is playing via car speakers while Waze is navigating over the phone speakers. There's literally no reason for Waze to interrupt the music in this case. And even if the music is playing on the phone, there could simply be a different volume bar for music.

Warn speed camera by voice all the time
At the moment it only warns by voice if exceeding speed limit and if we are at certain distance from camera. It doesn't warn by voice if we are short distance from camera and exceeding speed limit. It would be much appreciated if there would be an option to turn on warning by voice all the time for speed cameras. Thanks.

Latest version of Waze is really bad. Instead of announcing “vehicle on shoulder” it now says “hazard” so while I’m looking for a rock…or
Vehicle stopped can be severe danger if the vehicle is on the road or on a narrow shoulder. A hazard is generally an avoidable pothole, tyre bit, rock or something in the middle of the road. Please return to announcing the hazard type such as vehicle stopped!

Radar audio warning trigger model
I don't know if this is a new topic or not, but this is a problem that I've encountered wherein the normal Waze behavior is almost like a bug.
How it works today
The visual on screen warning for a Speed camera is based on distance only. I.e it will always show on-screen when the driver is X meters from the camera.
However, the audio warning for a speed camera only activates if you pass the "detection distance" and are "over speed"Problem
In this specific case, the radar is a 70 km/h radar. The detection distance however is when…2 votes -
