Reporting feedback
The reporting was better earlier, now it is very problematic:
- If I click somewhere else than the icon (free space), the report is lost.
- If I click some wrong icon, the report is also lost, cause I can't now go back and change the intended report.
- There's no way to stop the timer (previously it was achievable through clicking on the free space, now such action closes the dialog).All those problems are making usage of reporting as a driver very troublesome - sometimes I only have time to click the report and want to finish in…

Feature to add known road hazards, without having to be outdoors with a GPS signal.
i.e. potholes etc. without having to be outdoors with a GPS signal. It's illegal and often too dangerous to stop at the location. Why does Waze ask for a GPS signal before allowing one to report road hazards anyway?

Des problèmes surviennent lors de la conduite avec deezer en version gratuite. Des publicités vidéos interrompent la navigation (pas terrible lorsqu'on cherche son chemin...), mais en plus on bascule automatiquement sur l'application Deezer après la publicité vidéo. Le téléphone se met ensuite en veille en pleine conduite, on doit alors manipuler le téléphone au volant pour le déverrouiller et continuer la navigation.

Wildlife
Within the hazards section there should be a report button for wildlife helping warn motorists to remain vigilant, which when reported also sends an alert to the respective wildlife protection agency in that region to send a dispatch to prevent the animal from causing an accident and becoming injured. This would be extremely useful in Australia as we have an abundance of wildlife that resides near our roads .

SPLIT: notify drivers of heavy traffic ahead of time and offer alternative routes
Another suggestion would be when the app sees there is heavy traffic well before and notifies the driver of different routes available due to the accident or whatever may be holding up traffic.

Movable Reports Button
Have movable Reports button. Newer vehicles have wide infotainment screens and here in the US the reporting button is to the far right on the screen. If it could be moved to the left (drivers) side allows for much easier access.

Option to report Traffic Officers as well as Police In the U.K.
In the U.K. we have police and traffic officers and the traffic officers can’t prosecute or pull over car drivers but everyone reports them on Waze as police and it’s really annoying. Can we get an option in the U.K. to report traffic officers as well as police?

Shortcut for reporting hazards, when not in app.
Feature request for non drivers:
a homescreen shortcut (or floating bubble) for adding road hazards, for non drivers. Currently, the phone auto closes the app after inactivity.
The time it takes to reopen the app and navigate to the 'add hazard' panel means there is a delay in posting information, causing the location of the info to be incorrect. Sometimes even dozens of meters later.
If I had some floating window, homescreen shortcut or gesture shortcut directly to report a hazard, it will appear more correct.

Allow unlimited reports to help long distance driving.
Stop limiting reports as this is no good after driving for a short while & encountering several reportable issues.

confirmation for placing reports on waze map
It would be very useful if Waze had a confirmation for reports that are placed on the map. For example: ‘Are you sure you want to report roadworks?’ and so on for all possible reports
It often happens that a user enters a report that is totally different from what they actually wanted to enter, whether entered with a mobile phone or android auto / carplay, or while driving with voice commands. And to avoid placing an incorrect report compared to reality, it would be interesting to have waze ask for confirmation from the user either via on-screen pop-up or…

Autovelox con velocità
Attualmente, Waze segnala la presenza di autovelox fissi e mobili, ma non indica il limite di velocità associato al punto di controllo. Questo è un problema concreto in Italia, dove molti autovelox sono installati immediatamente dopo un calo improvviso del limite (es. da 90 a 50 o 30 km/h), generando confusione e potenziali multe ingiuste.
Suggerimento pratico: Integrare nella segnalazione dell’autovelox un pallino o icona accanto all’avviso, che indichi il limite vigente nel punto esatto del rilevamento.
Esempio visivo: ⚠️ Autovelox – Limite: 50 km/hQuesto miglioramento aumenterebbe chiarezza, sicurezza e fiducia nell’app.

Add Alert for Roadside Assistance Vehicles (Australia)
I’d like to suggest adding a specific alert or hazard option for stationary roadside assistance vehicles in Australia (e.g. RAA, tow trucks). A new rule in South Australia—and soon other states—requires drivers to slow down to 25 km/h when passing these vehicles displaying flashing amber lights.
Including a reportable category or automatic alert would help increase compliance, improve safety for roadside workers, and align with local road laws.

improve the droplist of the bug report
I suggest the following improvements to better structure the reporting process:
• Add a “UI issue” category to cover all problems related to the user interface (buttons not visible, layout bugs, etc.)
• Add an “Account issue” category for problems related to login, logout, or account information
• Remove entries like “No account found message” and “Login with Facebook…”, since they are specific cases, not general categories. These should be reported within the “Account issue” category instead.1 vote
