Buy Gas Buddy and merge the apps!
Your gas price functionality is not useful, inaccurate, etc. It would be awesome if you and Gas Buddy merged into one single app. Best Gas Prices along route would be the best feature ever!

I am an avid Waze user from Hungary, I really like this program.
I use several vehicles both in private life and in corporate affairs.My question or idea is, are you thinking about a future development to manage multiple vehicles under one user profile?
For example, I use 2 cars and 1 motorcycle on the private line, and several cars on the company. Each of these has different road use entitlements (motorway vignettes), and it would help a lot if these could be saved for separate vehicles, and when I set off with one of the vehicles, I…2 votes -
display current location data to report break down location for tow truck
Myself and a few freinds over the years have been stuck and had to give a location to get help to a third party. None of us could find a "I'm here" feature to tell say a tow truck how to find us. Such as "Mile marker 123 Rt 78 Clinton NJ". It's frustrating to have trouble telling help where you are especially at night. Something like an information button to give the info.

Check account permissions before prompting actions.
Today I was asked if I was at a fuel station (I was) and prompted to check prices.
All prices shown in the app were 1p lower than at the pumps, so I made the update.
I was then told that my account was a ‘Baby Wazer’ (a surprise as I have been using Waze for years) and I could not update the prices.
It annoyed me, as I took the time to change four prices, after being asked so to do, and felt slightly insulted.

Restart Carpool Feature
The carpool feature was really helpful to save costs! Was shutdown during covid and we badly need it back. Why does every brilliant app/ invention by Google gets shutdown or shelved ?!

Request Information on Wildlife reports
Hi Waze,
I work for a local council in NSW and we are trying to obtain data on wildlife road kills including locations, types of wildlife etc. Is this something your system would capture and be able to assist us with. If we are able to better understand these issues we can then ensure we focus our efforts to “Hot Spot” areas such as, virtual fencing or other controls to prevent wildlife entering high risk traffic areas.

Speed limit
It would be nice to have the speed limit either spoken at us or displayed on the screen as other map applications have this but Waze doesn’t.

Offline use
I like the features and some of the voices really much. It doesn't matter that the map doesn't show much than streets and buildings, it can be even an advantage considering the data use. Speaking of which, it would be great if you could download the voices and maps of states/countries or areas so that not too much data is used and that you can start a route even in areas where no connection is available.
It would be also great if you could view the maps even without GPS, just to plan routes or in case GPS doesn't work…2 votes
