Is it possible to add your own POIs Points of Interest ? I would like to add all of the UK parkruns as POIs.

Downloading offline direction or how city and country
Hi,
When i go somewhere outside my home country, first I want to download the choice route and than to only type the country ir town and download the whole map.
So when I'm online again or having wi-fi to update with the latest updates.
I don't like offline downloading process of Google Maps but this is the only source of truth for me so far.

Road grade warning
It would be great to have an option to avoid/warn the user about roads with high grades (>15%) as some heavier vehicles may struggle climbing these hills.

Commercial Trucking
It’s 2024 and many truck drivers are you biggest users. There are other apps but none have the community base, live updates, live events, updated closures. It’s time that truckers get the best of the best of driving apps. Garmin navigation is the biggest but are rarely updated and do not have LIVE updates. It’s time that you add trucking to your menu and all the restrictions because Waze has better updates than all apps. Maybe acquire another app and make it happen. Parada no destino ou continuar navegação na impossibilidade de parar
O Waze poderia apresentar um botão para confirmação da parada no destino. Caso não haja a confirmação da parada, o Waze poderia retornar a navegação àquele destino. Muitas vezes, não é possível parar no destino por conta do trânsito, sendo necessário continuar o percurso por algumas quadras ou ruas.

sou motorista e uso o waze como navegador oficial. Dirjo,150 km diariamente pela zona sul do Rio de Janeiro e uma coisa que me faz falta :

מתן התראה על תחנת דלק קרובה ,
לאחר שנהגים נוסעים זמן רב, הם עייפים ואכן צריכים לנוח, מצב זה מאלץ אותם להתחיל לחפש תחנות דלק באזור,שלעיתים אינה נראת קרוב והמצב שנוצר הינו שהנהג צריך להתחיל לחפש ואף מגיע למצב שהוא עוצר בצד,
נוסף לכך כשאר הנהג רואה את תחנת הדלק לעיתים הדבר מאוחר מידי ואינו מספיק לעבור לנתיב הימני בכדי לצאת לתחנת דלק
במידה והייתה קיימת התראה מוקדמת שלדוגמא הוויז היה מעדכן שבעוד כ2 או 3 קמ בדרך בה אני נוסע ישנה תחנת דלק, הדבר היה מאפשר מעבר מוקדם לנתיב
הימני ומונע את פספוס התחנה עקב הנסיעה המהירה או לעיתים גודש התנועה העמוס המקשה את הפנייה הפתאומית…1 vote -
Better lane guidance
Better lane guidance would be a big help. I’m coming from Google Maps. I would get notified at more than a mile when to get into a lane before a turn and how far over I need to be. So 1 mile to 2 miles out would be good especially on the expressway when traveling at higher rates of speed. If the notification became more frequent the closer you got to An exit or to a turn that would be a help as well

find nearest branch
when I'm out and about, and want to find the nearest branch, of say, Citibank, I don't want to see "recent results" I want the nearest branch to where I am. Maybe even in the direction I'm going, rather than backtrack.

Add option to avoid mountain passes
Sometimes, specially by bad weather or at night, a mountain pass can be really scary. I would prefer to do more KMs to catch a Tunnel, for example.
It would be great to have the option to avoid them or at least a warning.
Example in Switzerland: to use vereina tunnel instead of fluela pass (also in Sommer)2 votes -
Add multiple saved addresses for quick access
In the home and work tab of the profile page, there is no option to add a saved place other than home or work, such as school, or another home address.
This would prove useful for say quickly navigating to the cabin on weekends without the address getting buried under all of the visited addresses of the past week.
Please add this in upcoming updates as I like using Waze to navigate, but I feel it lacks this simple feature that could make the app more efficient for many.

Improve traffic in nyc!!
Improve rerouting to avoid traffic. Waze does a bad job of this in NYC area.

Please add a function that plots the same route to or from work and reports on this route
I take the same route by car each day but Waze does not recognise this and it can’t be saved

Customizable routes
I plan my own routes and would like to be able to input that into WAZE and have WAZE sync that route with Android Auto.
