Gostaria de sugerir a criação de uma nova opção de navegação chamada “Rota mais tranquila”.

A proposta é permitir que o usuário escolha um trajeto que priorize menor incidência de congestionamentos, mesmo que isso resulte em um tempo total de viagem um pouco maior. Muitas vezes, é preferível percorrer uma distância maior com fluxo constante do que enfrentar trechos com trânsito intenso, paradas frequentes e lentidão prolongada.

Essa funcionalidade poderia utilizar os dados já coletados pelo próprio Waze para identificar rotas com menor densidade de tráfego ao longo do percurso, oferecendo ao usuário uma alternativa focada em fluidez e previsibilidade, e não apenas no menor tempo estimado.

Acredito que essa opção agregaria valor à experiência de navegação, atendendo usuários que priorizam conforto e redução de estresse durante o deslocamento.

Sometimes I don't care how long it takes to get somewhere, I just want to avoid traffic. Especially when sometimes it only saves a few minutes.

I think it would be useful to add a function or setting that avoids all traffic jams on the route without wasting time in everyday traffic.

Poderia ter uma alternativa a mais na opção de vias não pavimentadas, por exemplo "sugerir vias não pavimentadas em caso de engarrafamento longo no percurso".
Recentemente voltando de Florianópolis, fizemos isso na BR101 e ganhamos bastante tempo no percurso, percorremos uns 15km em estrada não pavimentada e, creio eu, tenhamos poupado umas 2hrs de viagem.

You have Avoid Highways so you need to also make AVOID TRAFFIC JAMS button or something like that. Guys come on. I don't care if I'm still moving but when I see a 10 mile red line, I don't care if it take 10 more minutes on a back road, as long as I'm still moving. Waze kept trying to take me back on the highway today and it is very frustrating AND very dangerous being distracted by trying to avoid the traffic.

The best alternative is Google Maps, which is free. Other great apps like Waze are OsmAnd (Freemium, Open Source), MAPS.ME (Free), HERE WeGo (Free) and Organic Maps (Free, Open Source).

Waze used to be the best app for getting around a city and avoiding traffic. Instead, now Waze is hell bent on routing to the nearest freeway which is rarely the fastest route in cities. Can we have that back please?

How about an avoid heavy traffic option???
Waze often sends me into major congestion because that route will still be faster than alternatives, and every time I get stuck in a cluster-you-know-what of bumper to bumper, I end up more than a little unhappy. I would so much rather you take me home via a route that takes longer and doesn't land me in a 5 mile back up on the interstate!

Granted I could have avoided it if I'd looked at a different traffic research option, but what's the point of having this tool if it can't help us avoid gridlock!

Il serait intéressant de pouvoir choisir un itinéraire ou le vitesse moyenne globale est la plus élevée même si cela ajoute des km ou du temps de parcours. L’idee est de ne pas passer son temps dans les bouchons, même si le trajet est le plus rapide

It would be nice to have a new navigation option which asks Waze to find another route when there is heavy traffic jam in front of us, even if the alternative route is significantly longer (+ 15 / 20 min). It often happens to me that I prefer to arrive later by taking side little roads, if it's to prevent from having to deal with dead jam…

Now Waze directs you via the A6a or A6b trough Paris despite all the traffic jams on the Peripherique. Waze should recommend to take the A86.

Different Route Options (Realtime): Your map gives you the option to select different routes in the entry stage but it would be nice to see other route options and the added drive times while you are driving (a Google Drive feature). It is very helpful if you need to change a route on the fly due to traffic or an additional stop.

I only use Waze outside of Rush hour, as it does not pick up on traffic jams effectively enough. I believe that better integration with Google traffic data would be an improvement. I am fed up with being directed into heavy traffic that Waze misses.

Traffic Circle vs Roundabout. Spell check changed vs to CSU

Either based on Region=United States or with a toggle option set Traffic Circle CSU Roundabout. Google Maps used Traffic Circle in the USA.

Sometimes traffic suddenly backs up and I decide to take the side streets. I wish there was an option to route side streets around the jam.

Make it so Waze reroutes you around traffic. It used to reroute you around traffic, but it does not anymore.
