Add to Favorites More Simple
On iPhone when swiping left on a location in history it gives you “Options”. It’d be great to add a simple add to favorites from that menu vs having to do multiple steps just to add the location to favorites.

Details when clicking a reported item
Since iOS 17 I can’t click on the map to get details about a reported item. This was possible in iOS 16. I was hoping future updates would solve this but they never came. So now I report this here doing for that feature back.

Vehicle type restricred highway alert
PLEASE...When a route includes a restricted road, like the Merritt Parkway, pop up a flash screen that advises no trucks busses or trailers are permitted on the roadway and require acknowledgement. Illegal vehicles are being routed into these road because users either don't care or don't know how to set up their waze.

Change matching color pop-up window activation border--it's dangerous!!!
When I want to dismiss pop-up windows while driving, the border to indicate they're activated matches the color of the window and is very hard to see. As a result, I have to focus my attention on the Waze screen and away from my driving while operating the navigation knob in my 2020 Mazda to make the window active for dismissal--or let the window remain up where it obsures my map view. PLEASE change color of this border to white, yellow or anything that doesn't match the window color so I can spot it in my peripheral vision and keep…

Highway
When selecting to use highways waze just shows routes maximizing this. Sometimes it would be good to use just a bit of highways and pay less. For instance in Portugal you can save some money by just entering a bit later on the way on the highway. This could be a customizable. When waze presents the route user could get a prompt to change were to enter/exit the highway. Currently its a on/off option only.

Option to not automatically launch Waze when I activate Carplay
I do not need Waze every time I drive. If I launch Apple Airplay to listen to my music or an audiobook, Waze automatically launches on my phone and drains my battery. I would like to have the option in settings to choose whether to automatically launch Waze or not. Some users may prefer to auto-launch, so having the option would be beneficial.

Decouple map display from light sensor
The current version of Android Waze always uses the information from the light sensor to display dark or light mode. My car doesn't have a light sensor (even though it is a 2023 model). Therefore, my map display is always dark, making it very hard to see in bright sunlight. Could you make it possible for users to select whether to use the information from the light sensor or not? Thank you!

Pedágio - Opção de Ativar ao escolher a rota
Olá, obrigado por seu trabalho. Minha sugestão é, ao escolher a rota, ter a opção de "Evitar Pedágio" visível, para poder mudar ou não.
Assim, você fica sabendo se essa opção está ativada logo ao escolher a rota.
Atualmente, temos que entrar em "Configurações" para mudar.
Espero que implementem.

Voice alerts only for red light cameras and railroad crossings
Voice alerts only for railroad crossings and red light cameras. It is very annoying to have to hit the close button in order to see the map every time you hit a railroad crossing or red light camera. Especially now that red light cameras are popping up constantly. Having to hit the button is distracting.

Driving lane information
It would be great if a user that put notification about stopped vehicle, could also mark on which lane the event happened or is present, for example: stopped on the side, on the first lane, on the second lane or third lane

dark mode
Your latest update has messed around with dark mode and I’d like to highlight a potentially dangerous problem. Dark mode used to automatically activate however now it doesn’t leaving a bright white screen during night driving on Apple car play. This is extremely dangerous
The only way to prevent this is to open your phone and then open Waze which enables dark mode. Please fix asap

Car play
It would be better if Waze could be joined manually and disconnected manually it would save on battery usage and stop the phone getting hot also prolonging the battery life.

Gui issue
In an average speed controlled area the speed is partially obscured by the average speed zone indicator.
When a speed control camera is approached especially at the start of the zone, the vehicle speed is TOTALLY OBSCURED by the speed camera warning.!!
This is really annoying as this is the EXACT moment when speed awareness is critical !!1 vote -

Trajectcontrole beter opvolgen
Is het mogelijk om de gemiddelde snelheid weer te geven tijdens een trajectcontrole?
Visueel op het autoscherm en eventueel een bieptoon als de snelheid wordt overschreden.
De groene balk 'die aanduid hoelang de controle nog duurt' die op de telefoon wordt weergegeven komt ook niet op het scherm.11 votes
