Hypocrisy
I cannot add a destination from my car screen because of your ideas of “safety”, yet you had annoying alerts regarding a stupid sports event taking my attention from driving.
There was not even a way to turn it off. And other alerts I would like to pause for hours, days or weeks but the choice is on or off.
Additionally, when I start waze I dislike the cutesy startup stuff that wastes time getting started. I want the option to turn it off.

Closings the app
Before the update, you'd press back twice - and the app would've turned off.
Now, the only way to turn it off is through the notification bar: you have to open the notification bar, then click on the Waze banner, and only now close the app.

CarPlay see step by step route
On a phone, one can see the step-by-step route, but not in CarPlay. It shows on the phone. So now, while driving, I need to pick up my phone, which is not safe. Please make the CarPlay interface match the phone's.

Report Gas Prices in CarPlay
Using a phone, one can update the gas prices. But that is not possible in CarPlay. I'd need to disconnect my phone from the car, update the prices, and then reconnect it.

Drop a Pin for precise
Drop a pin when it doesn't lead you to the right location for you. For example, employees park at the front of the building and enter through it. The pin drops correctly for them, but those entering from the side road at the back of the building are giving directions for the employee route, which will take you out of the way as it tries to get you to the other road to enter.

Fix your stupid app so you can plan a route from a starting location where you aren't
Fix you app so you can plan a route from a starting point different from where you are at. Supposedly your app allows that in iphone, but I'm either the stupidest person alive, or it is so un-intuitive it's ridiculous. I have spent hours trying to figure it out. Could you make it any more complicated. I hate waze today.

Improve audible guidance
In the more recent updates to Waze, there are two driver assist features that have changed:
1) routing turn guidance using street names has been removed (silenced) - restore street names; and 2) advance vocal turn guidance occurs when vehicle is 100 metres from turn because voice guidance “Turn right” often occurs now as vehicle passing through previous intersection - adjust vocal guidance distance to not more than 90m in urban settings.

Country-by-Country Vignette Selection
The Problem: Currently, Waze treats "Toll and HOV passes" as a global on/off toggle. When planning a multi-country route across Europe (e.g., passing through Austria, Slovenia, and Hungary), toggling any vignette on tricks Waze into clearing the route, but it doesn't tell the user which specific country's vignette they are actually missing or need to buy.
The Solution: Allow drivers to select individual country passes (e.g., check boxes for Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland, etc.). Waze should cross-reference the itinerary's border crossings with the selected passes and explicitly prompt the driver to buy the specific vignette needed for each country on their…1 vote -
3D elements on map (buildings, terrain and general environment features)
Would be great for Waze to display 3D elements on the map while navigating. Like the buildings around you, junctions and landscape features like rivers, mountains and general terrain elevation.
And overall have a more detailed map.

When in average speed check zones, display the average speed you have been driving at.
This is less so designed for people abusing the system but more if you are averaging 53 in a 50 by mistake and want to know what speed to lower it

Navigating without GPS
When GPS are down you just can't use waze. If you could plan a route from point A to point B (and not from your location) you could at least use the app to follow the directions. In such instances I must use google maps.

I am a dedicated Waze user and BMW driver, and I would like to raise a feature request that I believe would make Waze significantly better and safer to use in BMW vehicles: proper integration into the instrument cluster and head-up display.

Add Waze Support to Samsung Now Brief
Many Samsung users use Waze as their primary navigation app, yet Now Brief only shows commute information from Google Maps.
Waze often provides more useful driving information through real-time reports of traffic, accidents, hazards, road closures, and faster alternate routes. If Waze is set as a user's default navigation app, Now Brief should be able to display Waze commute data as well.
Adding Waze support would give users relevant travel information from the app they actually use, making Now Brief more useful and personalized.2 votes -

level 4 & 6 mood

Could you add the mood of the editor in levels 4 and 6 in WME to the client Waze for different visiblity on live map because they are the best.
An editor can choose differents moods editor when he wants not just the dinosaur for levels 5.

Waze
Gostaria de sugerir uma nova opção de visualização no Waze: mapa em modo satélite, semelhante à visualização disponível no Google Maps.
Seria muito útil poder alternar entre o mapa tradicional do Waze e uma imagem de satélite real, permitindo visualizar melhor o terreno, áreas verdes, rios, construções, estradas rurais e outros elementos da paisagem.
Essa função poderia ser especialmente interessante para quem utiliza o Waze em regiões rurais ou em locais onde o mapa convencional não representa tão bem o ambiente ao redor.
Acredito que a visualização por satélite seria um excelente complemento ao Waze, tornando a navegação mais completa…

Olá, equipe do Waze!
Gostaria de sugerir a adição de um modo de visualização via satélite no aplicativo, semelhante ao que existe no Google Maps.
Seria muito interessante poder alternar entre o mapa tradicional e uma visualização com imagens de satélite, mostrando as paisagens, estradas, áreas rurais, rios, construções e outros detalhes reais do terreno. Isso ajudaria bastante na orientação, principalmente em locais onde o mapa convencional não deixa tão clara a geografia da região.
Acredito que essa opção deixaria o Waze ainda mais completo e seria muito bem recebida pelos usuários.
