Navigation does not resume after Android Auto disconnect/reconnect
When Android Auto (wireless) disconnects and I have an active navigation going in Waze on screen, when the phone reconnects Waze does not resume navigation, it just shows me the map. It does not ask to resume the route.
Phone is a Samsung Galaxy s24u, car is a 2017 Kia Sportage with the factory head unit, and an AAWireless in between.

Keep navigation instructions in a fixed position when alerts appear
When using Waze through Android Auto, the next-turn navigation instructions are normally displayed in the upper-left corner of the car screen, showing the next maneuver and the remaining distance.
However, when a Waze alert appears (speed camera, hazard, police, etc.), the alert takes that position and the navigation instructions are moved to the right.
In areas with many alerts, this becomes quite distracting while driving. The navigation instructions keep changing position on the screen, so instead of being able to quickly glance at the same location to see the next turn, you have to look for where the instructions have…1 vote -
Traffic Visualization
I really like Waze for road information, lane guidance, and updates, especially when driving in the UAE. However, I strongly dislike the way Waze currently displays traffic flow.
Google Maps has a much clearer way of showing traffic. When my route is blue, the exact section affected by traffic changes to yellow or red. This immediately tells me where the traffic is and how far ahead it is, which is very useful while driving because I can prepare for the congestion in advance.
Waze also shows traffic flow, but personally I find its visualization difficult to understand and much less…

Allow users to disable hazard warnings in roaming mode
Many (URs) user reports caused by permanent hazards in roaming mode - reporters are driving on highways and app will provide warnings about RR crossings, speed bumps and other hazard alerts located on the side roads.
It will be nice to allow users to disable warnings in roaming mode.Or maybe waze developers can modify/improve “algorithm” to detect speed, road type, etc before providing hazard alerts on side roads in roaming mode?

Correção de Sequência de Aviso
O aviso de mudança de direção, tipo "vire à direita", "vire à esquerda", está vindo antes do aviso "em 200 metros vire à direita" ou "em 200 metros vire à esquerda".
Isso está induzindo o motorista a entrar a mudar de direção antes da entrada correta.
O certo é o aviso de mudança "em 200 metros vire à ..." vir antes do aviso de mudança imediata "vire a ...".
Espero ter me feito entender.

Add Waze HUD Support for Mercedes-Benz Vehicles in the UK
Please add Waze turn-by-turn navigation to the Head-Up Display (HUD) on compatible Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the UK, such as the EQS.
Apple Maps and Google Maps already show turn directions and distances on the HUD through Apple CarPlay. It would be great if Waze could offer the same support.
Even basic turn arrows, distances and roundabout exits would be a big improvement and make Waze much better integrated with modern Mercedes vehicles.1 vote -

Punto de inicio
Aún no entiendo por qué no se puede poner el punto de inicio por tu cuenta, sin poner tu ubicación actual, es decir, si solamente quiero saber cómo llegar de punto A a punto B pero no estoy ahí, no es posible marcar un punto de salida distinto a donde estoy, me parece increíble

For Australians the new version sucks
Need better updated full area covering school zone warning till I pass the area not just for 10 second when I’m stopped in traffic light..
the old version which becomes red during complete speed camera was the safest and stays till u comepletely pass the area..
Now the schoolzone and speed camera notification stays only 5 second even if were still in one place.. so when i actually entered the school zone with higher speed after stopping in previous traffic light there was mo warning for me.. miss the old version never got a fine using old version for 2…

Police time reported on map
I want the app to put a time stamp.When police were reported eg, as i'm driving down the road and I see police reported, I can tell if it was a minute ago or if it's fifteen minutes ago.
I'd also like to see if it was police driving, or if it was policed with a stop reason like as in nepulling cars over

Fix the IOS so we can type!!!
The Waze app on my iPhone has been glitching and will not allowed me to tap into or type anything consistently for MONTHS - like going on 4-6 Months. I’ve updated it, deleted and uninstalled and reinstalled it — it is unusable nearing 90% of the time. It will not allow me tap on a past or saved destination, will not allow me to search or type or even paste an address. I Want to use it — I CANNOT PHYSICALLY USE IT!!

Notifications for Update requests
Rather than send an email to the editor when a Update Request (UR) gets a new reply, the editor gets a notification rigth there on the WME (social media style). This will be more faster, and easy to reply UR's. Once you click on the notification, It will take directly to the UR location.

Show route shields in the current road name bubble (bottom of screen) during navigation instead of plain text route numbers
Currently in Waze, the current road name displayed at the bottom of the screen during navigation only shows plain text (e.g. “M1 - Monash Fwy”) without the road shield symbol while route shields already appear in other parts of Waze (map and directions), but not in the current road bubble, creating inconsistency.
This suggestion is to display the route number as a proper shield symbol within the current road name bubble, instead of it being in plain text with a hyphen next to it. This will help reduce the clutter in the current street name and allows more room for…
