Treasure Map
I would love some alternate designs for the map appearance, but most of all I could love an old-timey treasure map look. And maybe a way to customize the route design so instead of a purple line it could be a red dotted line, again like on a pirate's treasure map.

Non-Vehicle Car Icons
I would love some cute, simplistic car icons that aren't cars/vehicles:
- A little caterpillar wiggling across the map
- A little spider scuttling across the screen
- A sail boat / pirate ship the bobs like it's on water
- A beach ball bouncing down the roadI'm sure there could be other ideas but these were just the first I thought of that might work.

If possible, it would be interesting to add a marker to the screen informing how many km have already been travelled, with the option of resetting the marker when the car is refueled, for example. Improve vertical UI on iPhone
Please fix the vertical user interface on iPhone! It is a complete mess, with large blacked out areas unnecessarily blocking the useful map space, therefore limiting our map vision and app experience, also the shortcuts or pop-ups are difficult to reach/click. Moreover, it doesn’t show a green line when entering part of the road under avg speed radar control. It should be an easy fix, just look at the carplay version, or maybe take ideas from google or apple maps. I am literally switching to other map providers because I have a terrible experience of using waze in vertical mode.

Remove the cheesy comments (Red light camera, squeeze those cheeks)
Remove the annoying comments which are new. Just say "red light camera ahead" like it used to say.

Restart Carpool Feature
The carpool feature was really helpful to save costs! Was shutdown during covid and we badly need it back. Why does every brilliant app/ invention by Google gets shutdown or shelved ?!

Save a route, not just a destination. We have a new driver in our house and we'd like to save specific routes for her to follow. We realize this could impact the time to destination but would be acceptable in certain situations

Revise the police notification regarding "Is it still there?"
Please revise the police notification where you confirm if they are still there. The timer begins ticking when the notification occurs, and if I am waiting at a red light, then I will not be able to confirm if they are still there, because the timer will end by the time I arrive the police location.
It would be good to have the confirmation of the police 1 km or so after the police location and not 1 minute or so after the police notification. So the timer should tick by counting the distance, and not the seconds.Thanks!

when reaching my destination WAZE will open my home gate by making a call or open other app (that open the gate)
when predefining an address ( like home address or work address or other ) we will be able setup an app or a contact that waze will call when we reach the destination,

Toll and HOV passes should NOT be mandatory!
I found out, that of you ommit to MANUALLY add Vignette/Toll pass/HOV pass, your navigation will be put into "Avoid highways" mode. It is a bit frustrating for all who travel a lot abroad to manually add highway passes/Vignettes for each and every highway portion we intend to drive.
My suggestion is Waze should INFORM you for needed Vignette, and you should be able to either IGNORE this (still navigating higways) or to simply (one -click) ADD needed vignette to list of passes you own. That way it would be unser-friendly. For now, when process is manual and you have…3 votes -
Touch-n-go locations
I would like to suggest to put up touch-n-go reload locations in waze itself so wazers would be easy to locate touch-n-go locations during certain time.(example: midnight). It would be really helpful for us wazers to locate touch-n-go top up locations in waze itself. Thank you.

Start direction
Similar to how you can chose Closure directions, when you start navigation you should have the ability to chose which direction you are traveling.
