FIX the CarPlay map disappearing after driving for a few minutes
First off, it's infuriating that PROBLEMS can't be reported on the Support page.
The CarPlay map disappears after a few minutes of driving. All the control buttons remain, but the moving map is just a white field. This is a failure that makes Waze absolutely useless on CarPlay. This problem started with the latest iOS 5.19.1.0 version of Waze.2 votesThanks for reaching out. Sugiro ter uma configuração de um mapa minimalista sem informações em excesso para Focar apenas no trajeto e na navegação ou seja remover nome de ruas e outras informações que às vezes atrapalham e acabam até tampando o trajeto. Add a Skyway On/Off Preference
Add a Skyway On/Off Preference
I would like to suggest adding a Skyway On/Off option in Waze's route preferences.
Currently, there are situations where all available route options use Skyway. While I understand that Skyway is often the fastest route, some drivers intentionally prefer SLEX or other non-Skyway roads, even if the travel time is longer.
The reasons can vary:
To reduce toll expenses.
Personal driving preference.
Familiarity with non-Skyway routes.

Add Multitouch Support for Waze on CarPlay (iOS 26)
Starting with iOS 26, Apple officially added multitouch support for CarPlay apps (confirmed on Apple’s developer website).
However, Waze still doesn’t support multitouch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom — which makes map navigation less intuitive and even unsafe while driving.Currently, zooming in or out requires multiple taps, forcing drivers to take their eyes off the road.

Option to add height to vehicle properties
More people have requested this. Let me add my reason:
Last summer, I was driving from the Netherlands towards Spain, and Waze navigation directed me through Paris via the so-called duplex tunnel, which is only 2 meters high. However, my van is 2 meters and 3 centimeters. Fortunately, I didn't get stuck because the tunnel has a margin, but I was terrified. Why can't I enter more information about my van in Waze so that I am not sent through such a tunnel?

Show distance difference for alternative routes
Currently, when Waze shows an alternative route, the interface tells me how much faster or slower the alternative route is compared to my current route.
For example:
“4 min faster”
I think it would be very useful to also show the difference in distance.
For example:
4 min faster
+20 kmThis would give users a much better understanding of the trade-off between time and distance.
Imagine there is a traffic jam ahead. Waze may suggest an alternative route that is currently 4 minutes faster because it avoids the traffic, but that route could require driving 20 additional kilometers.

Signs on the map
It would be great to add signs for roads with frequent animal crossings. For example, here in central PA, we have a lot of deer and livestock, such as geese, chickens, turkeys, etc., that cross the road. It would be nice to have those signs on the map as you're traveling, so you're aware ahead of time.
Also, on a different topic, we have signs for wavy roads/sharp turns and things of that nature here. It would be nice to see those on the map ahead of time!

The ability to see how many GPSs are connected
It would be nice to have the ability within Waze to see how many GPS are locked on or connected to your device to determine how accurate your position is and/or troubleshoot why Waze might be giving poor directions etc..
If this was an area within settings that displays a visual of the world and where the GPSs are connected above the device in space.

Get Joe Arden to do the voice narration for navigation.
I am a member of Joe's social media and he said in front of a couple hundred people on a live that he would love to do the live narration for your platform he has a huge following and is incredible and he would probably bring all the users to Waze to hear him tell them what to do on the road.

Verbal “Animal Alert” & Animal Icon replaced in app
Requesting update to app: 50 mile commute to & from work. High potential for animal / wildlife encounters & add a loss of connection for approx 5 miles during the trip. Would like an “Animal” icon to be placed back into the app & a verbal “Animal Alert” be announced the same way that construction, crashes, hazards & police, do so now. Serious CarPlay Bug – White Screen When Selecting Alternate Routes
Hello Waze Support,
There is a serious and long-standing bug in Waze on Apple CarPlay that makes alternate routes completely unusable.
Every time I select an alternate route during navigation, the entire Waze screen turns white. Once this happens, the app becomes completely stuck and cannot be recovered from within CarPlay. The only way to get Waze working again is to disconnect the phone from CarPlay and reconnect it.
This issue occurs consistently and is fully reproducible. It is not an occasional glitch—it happens whenever an alternate route is selected.

Toothless upgrade
I got really excited when toothless was added as a car option however i do find he’s not 100% accurate. In the movies, his back tail is missing and is replaced by a new red tail and on the waze app, both the tails are black and I think it would be super cool if this was updated.

More time warning exiting freeways
Can Waze please give more time warning when approaching ones off-ramp. It’s awkward if one is traveling in the left lane to have Waze suddenly say “Exit right”. A one or two miles heads up would be super helpful.

fix destination entry!
My iOS Waze app only accepts every other letter I type. This is very annoying and potentially dangerously distracting. I am running iOS 27.0 and downloaded a fresh copy of Waze minutes ago. In other words, I have the latest version of the app from the App Store, as of today.
