Truck routes
Waze dev team,
Please consider an option for drivers (Waze users) to enter in their vehicle height so that Waze can provide them with suitable routes, avoiding routes with low bridges/clearance?
This would be applicable for truck drivers, tradespeople with work vans and work equipment on roof as well as casual drivers with trailers.
Reason for this is to avoid the frequent low bridge collisions or congestion due to truck having to back out of road.
In Australia, prior to GPS maps such as Waze or Google Maps, we used to have truck edition of paper maps or map books…

Voz automática com mudança de rota diária (em viagens ou com alteração de rota usual)
No dia a dia a voz não é necessária para navegação, porém seria muito útil a navegação ter voz caso ocorra mudança de rota em uma rota diária (como ir para o trabalho ou voltar pra casa) em caso de acidentes ou até quando se for fazer uma pequena viagem a voz seria ativada automaticamente por não ser uma rota usual, e, o melhor, ao retornar a rota comum do dia a dia, a navegação por voz iria ser desativada automaticamente. macro view when I want to keep in a big picture view.
It sucks that I want a particular orientation/view and the "system" continually resets to a street level view.
When I'm traveling 400 miles I want to have the World view versus looking 1/2 mile down the road. I want to see way in advance traffic issues, debris, or police.
Waze was better before Google bought it.

Speed camera continuous alert when speeding
It would be great if Waze could play a repeating warning sound whenever the driver exceeds the speed limit while approaching a speed camera. For example, after the initial alert (about 500 m before the camera), if the vehicle enters the camera zone and goes over the speed limit, Waze could emit a rapid "beep-beep-beep" until the speed is reduced or the camera is passed.
This would be especially useful in situations where the initial warning is easy to forget, such as after stopping at a long red light or sitting in traffic. By the time traffic starts moving again,…

חשוב מאוד וודאי ימנע תאונות! ההתראה הידועה על רכב בשולי הכביש מופיעה הרבה פעמים ונהגים התרגלו אליה וכשמדובר ברכב כבד הסכנה לתאונה עולה משמעותית במיוחד גם כשהרכב הכבד תופס את כל השול, אני מציע להוסיף התראה מיוחדת לכך ולסייע מאוד בהפחתת תאונות אולי גם אפשרות של ״רכב כבד״ אחרי לחיצה על ״רכב בשול הדרך״.

Reduce Distance in which School Zones are Merged
Currently, two school zones with 500 m (1640 feet, or about 0.31 miles) will be merged. This can lead to the driver being told they are within a school zone for over 0.5 miles, when they are not. The criterion for merging should be a shorter distance, with no merging if the zones have different speed limits.

WAZE, DEVOLVAM OS COMENTÁRIOS E DEEM AO USUÁRIO CONTROLE SOBRE AS ROTAS
Quero registrar uma reclamação séria sobre duas decisões do Waze que, sinceramente, estão tornando o aplicativo muito pior de usar.
A primeira é a remoção do chat/comentários dos alertas no mapa. Isso faz uma falta enorme. Nem todo problema na via consegue ser explicado por meia dúzia de opções pré-definidas de alerta. Às vezes existe uma situação específica acontecendo naquele ponto, uma interdição parcial, uma obra, uma mudança temporária, um acidente que ainda não aparece direito nas opções disponíveis ou qualquer outra situação que simplesmente não cabe em um botão pronto.

Add changes in distance and time together
Everytime you reach a route options, only show different in time (+8min).
Maybe can add in distance different and time different along.
Mean i know when i took choose another route, i know this route is another (example) +6 km and additional +15min.
Or -3 km but +9 min

Speed Indikator and vehical Blue arrow
For use on a bike it would be very helpful to have speedlimit in double size. The vehicle Indicator is fix a bike and can not be changed to Blue arrow when you are in bike Mode.

véhicule arreté sur le bas coté, ne pas signaler les véhicules sur les aires de stationnement (9 fois sur 10 c'est le cas).
Trop d'alertes inutiles, on fini par ne plus prêter attention, donc cela devient dangereux.

Add a routing option that avoids the traffic lights as much as possible
I'd like to have an option that allows avoiding traffic light controlled intersection because here the city is implementing a sort of "red wave" so no matter what the traffic lights are red, but there are roads that allow avoiding such lights.
My suggestion is adding a routing that allows avoiding (poorly synchronized) traffic lights for as much as possible.

Fixed cam on Brooker Highway
Waze currently shows a fixed speed camera on the Brooker Highway near Cornelian Bay/Selfs Point Road, Hobart. However, this location does not appear on the current official Tasmanian Government list of fixed speed cameras.
The outdated camera marker may cause unnecessary braking and confusion for drivers. Could Waze please review this location and remove or update the camera marker if it is no longer active?
