Show All Alternate Route Information and Make It Easier to See and Select While Driving
When driving on a route, Waze lets you select alternate routes. However, there is not enough information given to make an informed choice.
Examples:
A) Waze may suggest a different freeway than the one you're currently on, but to get to that freeway you may be routed on side streets. You know that the traffic on the side streets is not accurately reported by Waze and are busy at that time of day and so you would avoid that route if you knew Waze would route you that way.B) Waze senses that traffic is getting worse ahead and suggests…

Waze destination suggestion makes me sad
Waze keeps suggesting to me to go to the hospital where my father died at two weeks ago.
I keep removing it, and it keeps coming back.

Why not add a mood icon for Czech Republic
I mean, there are a few country-specific mood icons but that’s that: just a few. I am from the Czech Republic so I miss my country’s icon. I suppose the icons are designed and/or made available by Waze developers, not by users…

More engagement with existing markers
The option to report a hidden car is sometimes not specific enough. Sometimes it is a mobile speed camera. Or it’s a phone / seatbelt detector. The road chat option is the closest option we have so far when used along with a police marker. Either that or add the ability for other drivers to give extra info when more information is figured out so if a passer-by notices the report bit it isn’t in-depth enough or is just a bit to far for it to look current. Finger hold for icon placement
When placing a hazard or police location on the map, currently you have to tap on the screen to bring up the choices, tap for police, tap again for their location and then tap again to place it on the map. Why not after the first tap, if you keep your finger on the screen, automatically show the options, slide your finger to the one you want, and then once your finger is released, the icon drops straight into the map.

Driver Avatars/Icons
Gamification in apps like this can incentivize consumers to increase usage of your app. More frequent users ultimately increases your revenue from advertising and other potential sources. My idea is that you should incorporate a point/coin system that rewards users for driving miles using Waze. These points can then be used to buy avatars and icons in place of the boring arrow that represents the driver. The more points you save up, the cooler avatars you can buy. Bring back auto start route
My Waze is automatically starting when I start driving.
In the past it would check my calendar, if an appointment wit location is available it offers this location. Otherwise it would offer work/home as destination. After some time it started the navigation.Currently Waze is still offering a destination. But I have to manually start navigating (which could be a huge fine)
I saw some old complaints about this function. But please bring it back with a setting for the people who don't like it.

Spastic speed limit display
Since the last updates the speed limit seems to go spastic popping in & out. Example: PA Turnpike speed limit is 70 mphs. Cruise control set to 70 , going down hills speed increases to 70.5. Speed limit sign goes nuts - in & out. Not enough hysteresis. Distracting
