Radio/TV station badges
As a radio station owner/presenter, I remember back in 2018 when I last had my station running, looking forward to having my station as part of a wazers badge.
When wazers used to be able to choose the badge to wear on the map of their favourite station and wear it across the map with pride.
Could you bring this back? The old W on Air used to be an amazing feature too if you could do something like that also?

On startup, just show my saved places.
Every time Waze starts, it shows a list of one-time searches instead of saved places for everyday routes. Please make it an option for saved places to be the only thing on startup.

Scottish voices
Please please please can we have the following options for voices Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness, Highlands accented voices with dialects. If you are from these areas and far from home then it’s a big thing to hear a familiar sounding voice. Currently there is not one Scottish voice at all and we feel left out

fuel types
for example in the uk, there are 5 types of fuel grades that are available at the forecourt which are e10/95ron (unleaded), e5/97ron (super unleaded), e5/99ron (super unleaded), b7 (diesel), b7 (super diesel). it would be a good option to allow the user to select thier preferred fuel grade / type as for myself i prefer using 99 octane (e5) so if i have that option selected it will only show those forecourts instead of some that only offer 97.

Implement reporting of badly fixed issues by moderators
To allow reporting when a moderator will check an issue as solved, even though he didn't change something. Maybe an option to attach an image will be good confirmation of the true situation at the disputed location.
This is a big issue in my town of Skopje, as there are speed camera alerts on many intersections and only some of them are true. The reported issues go to a couple moderators which are not very effective in their work.

favorites system & usability
The favorites system in this app feels extremely limited and unintuitive, making saving and using favorites unnecessarily difficult.
Instead of a proper favorites list, the app relies on a single horizontal bar that requires swiping left and right. This design does not scale: once more than a few locations are saved, finding anything becomes a guessing game.
Fixed locations (Home and Work)
Several locations such as Home and Work are fixed and cannot be customized:
- Names cannot be renamed
- Icons are oversized
- Labels are too long and take up excessive space

Enhanced Visual Warning for Speed and Red-Light Cameras
I would like to propose an additional visual alert system for speed and red-light cameras within Waze. The idea is to introduce a transparent red overlay that flashes on the screen as drivers approach a camera location.
This feature would serve as a strong visual cue, especially for users who may not always be actively looking at their GPS display or listening to audio directions. The flashing overlay would draw immediate attention and help ensure drivers are more aware of upcoming enforcement zones.

Choose Route in Android Auto
When using Android Auto, allow users to choose from available routes, regardless if Avoid Tolls, Freeways, etc... is selected.
Route choice is available directly in the Waze app, however, when connected, Android Auto locks the Waze app preventing the user from accessing it directly from the phone (love that safety feature)!
Please allow users to choose a route when using the app, including tolls or no tolls.

Improve usability for EV drivers
Please add more EV friendly information. Have no option to choose EV as fuel type and doesn't show charging stations. Since buying my car, I've actually found Google Maps a far better option but do miss the community reporting of Waze as its not as good in Google Maps

Donc quand un radar est indiqué, on ne voit ni la vitesse autorisée, ni la vitesse a laquelle on roule ....

Stop navigation once you're "close enough" to the destination
Waze should have an option where it stops trying to re-route once you're close to the destination, especially when it is not possible to actually drive to the exact entry point for whatever reason.
Context:
I've got someone who has brought up routing issues to their destination a few times, and at least two or three local editors have made various changes. They now again have been saying that once they arrive, Waze wants them to exit the parking lot again, and make a huge detour just to return again to where they are already located.

Saved routes auto alert
Allow users to have saved routes for example house to work or house to school. And allow them to check off for what days and timeframes, to get alerts if traffic is unusual. Without having to open app

Bring back the passenger exception
I use android auto and my wife copilots using her phone. Now she cannot use her phone to scan for places to stop or check for obstacles especially in an rv. Waze is now useless for road trips. Back to another map because waze is the only one w this restriction.

Que se avise siempre de la presencia de un radar. Una opción para avisar por voz de las incidencias como se hizo por una época.
- Los radares siempre deberían avisarse, a lo mejor quieres adelantar a alguien y justo empiezas a adelantar cuando el radar está encima.
- Poder mandar alertas con comandos de voz, no es seguro tener que tocar el móvil para poner una alerta, yo nunca uso el móvil si estoy en movimiento, por seguridad de los que avisan y del resto de conductores añadiría esta opción.

Viewing Alternate Routes
Bring back the ability for users to view alternate routes on their phone. Right now I can only view alternate routes using my car display. Why? I often want to plan my route before getting in the car. Why are you forcing users to be in the vehicle to plan their route?
