I suggested a communication system using an app, like Waze or Google Maps, which would allow those in a disaster area, including inhabitants, builders, and construction workers, to have access to current and site-specific traffic conditions and other relevant safety information. If WAZE agreed to set up such a program, everyone who uses the app could send and receive information on it. Stop auto re-routing to save nominal time.
Perhaps the greatest problem with Waze is when the inconvenience of taking a nonstandard route is not proportional to the time savings the new route provides. All too often I’m taken on an insane route in comparison to the normal one just to save two minutes.
I would like to prevent Waze from automatically rerouting (or suggesting an alternative “best route”) unless the new route saves 10 minutes of the total “mainstream” route time.
Perhaps people could choose different thresholds for reroutes.

UI Improvement for exiting to parallel/marginal roads (Visual Transition Zone)
Hi Waze team!
I would like to suggest a UI improvement regarding maneuvers where the driver needs to exit a main expressway to enter a parallel/marginal road.
The Problem: Currently, when the route requires leaving the main road for a parallel one, the standard purple route line often blends in with the main road on the map. Because the roads are right next to each other, it can be very confusing to determine the exact moment to switch lanes and take the exit, often leading to missed turns.

Please just show a free driving map without written directions
When you force a listing of written directions or force us to enter a destination, it is annoying and prevents me from seeing the map allowing me to use free driving by the map routes. I do not like driving my car by written directions. I want only to see the map of where I am and drive to wherever I am going.
I really hope this posted feedback matters, but I don't feel that the developers of this app really care about things written here. When this app first came out, it was excellent. Now it is a real…1 vote -
Separate Voice Options For Voice Reporting
Currently there are voice options that don't come with the "with street names text" When using said voice options, voice reporting becomes unavailable.
It would be great if there was a setting provided that could allow users to set separate voice options for voice reporting. This would allow users who can't go without voice reporting to be able to play around with different voices.

Still There - Not There buttons in Waze
For the Still There and Not There buttons in Waze, having the buttons next to each other is an issue as you have heard. My suggestion would be to have Still There on the top, the notification reason (Police Ahead, Construction, Accident) in the middle and Not There on the bottom. Because the notification reason is not a button that can be selected this layout would help the issue of hitting the wrong button by accident.

Critical alerts only
Many users choose to turn off voice navigation in Waze because the alerts can be frequent and distracting—especially on familiar or long drives where there’s no need to hear every turn, lane change, or minor update.
The problem is that once voice guidance is disabled, it becomes easy to miss a critical turn. Sometimes missing a turn has little impact, but in other cases it can extend the trip by 10, 20, or even 30 minutes.
The proposed solution is to introduce a new alert mode: “Critical Alerts Only.”

כיום הרבה משתמשים מכבים את ההנחיות הקוליות ב-Waze, משום שהן עלולות להיות תכופות ומציקות — במיוחד בנסיעות מוכרות או ארוכות, שבהן אין צורך לשמוע כל פנייה, שינוי נתיב או עדכון קטן.
הבעיה היא שכאשר ההנחיות הקוליות כבויות, קל לפספס פנייה קריטית. לפעמים פספוס כזה לא משנה כמעט כלום, אבל לפעמים הוא עלול להאריך את המסלול ב-10, 20 או אפילו 30 דקות.
ההצעה היא להוסיף מצב התראות חדש: “התראות קריטיות בלבד”.
במצב הזה Waze לא תתריע קולית על כל פנייה, אלא רק כאשר אי־ביצוע ההנחיה הקרובה צפוי לגרום לעיכוב משמעותי במסלול.

Merge 2 of the same address on waze map
So when you search sometimes it will show 2 of the same address 1 from waze and other from Google but what if they were merged. The only issue would be sometimes Google is wrong so the address will need to be checked.

construction zone stays until construction finishes option
add start/end date option for long-term construction zones
Many road construction and lane reduction projects remain active for days or weeks, but Waze temporary reports disappear after only a few hours.
This creates a major issue because users must repeatedly re-report the same construction zone every day, and once the alert disappears Waze begins routing traffic directly through that delayed area again.
Example: if a city construction sign clearly states lane closure or road work for 30 days, users should be able to submit a construction report with an optional expiration date or duration.
