Feature suggestion: Show the effect of traffic next to the ETA
I suggest adding a traffic-impact indicator next to the estimated time of arrival.
The indicator would compare the current estimated travel time with the estimated travel time under clear, traffic-free conditions. This would allow drivers to immediately understand how much traffic is affecting their journey.
For example:
- Traffic-free travel time: 30 minutes
- Current estimated travel time: 40 minutes
- Traffic delay: +33%, or 10 additional minutes
Another possible format would be a “traffic efficiency” percentage:
- 100% means traffic is not increasing the travel time.
- 75% means the journey currently takes approximately 33% longer than it would under clear conditions.

Add a button using carplay
Add a “report via voice” button on the bottom right of the map. I’m in the UK so drive on the right. So to reach over and press report button, then the furthest button away is report via voice its not easy to do while driving. A one tap button on the bottom right would make this MUCH quicker. And get rid of the voice that speaks first.. I want to make my report quickly not wait with “thinking” on the screen, then for someone to speak to me before I can report. Ford Sync 4 Integration
Please have a look at integrating Waze into the newer Ford Sync 4 systems.
Waze works amazing well on Carplay on my Ford Everest 2023. But it really lacks the on dash turn notifications that you get with Apple and Google Maps. I love using Waze but find that I turn to Apple or Google maps especially for inner city nav.
Please add the Sync 4 and Sync 4a in to your next release. I believe Ford have make the API available via their in-Vehicle APIs (Ford AppLink).

Separate Voice Options For Voice Reporting
Currently there are voice options that don't come with the "with street names text" When using said voice options, voice reporting becomes unavailable.
It would be great if there was a setting provided that could allow users to set separate voice options for voice reporting. This would allow users who can't go without voice reporting to be able to play around with different voices.

It is too hard to enter road closures!
It is too hard to enter road closures! Waze gives directions to an exit or road that is closed. I am confused and looking for hazards. No time to enter data on your cumbersome app! We need a quick way to enter road closures . Even using the voice method is cumbersome.

It is too hard to give feedback! Logging in again and again. Typing my idea over and over. Stop covering driving instructions with alerts! Make the alerts opaque or.. move them to a different area on the screen!

Sprachausgabe wiederholen
Manchmal habe ich die letzte Meldung in der Navigation überhört.
Daher fände ich es sinnvoll, wenn es in Waze eine Möglichkeit gäbe die letzte Ansage nochmal wiederholen zu lassen wie dies bei der ein oder anderen Navi-App möglich ist.

Add traffic lights and stop signs
Please add traffic lights and stop signs to the map. I’ll switch back to Waze in a heartbeat if you do. It’s impossible to drive new places without them in Japan —therefore I’m forced back to Google Maps but I don’t like it as much.

Move control button to right hand side on right hand drive vehicle vehicles in Australia
Randomly sometimes the reporting buttons come up on my right hand side of screen close to my steering wheel on right hand drive car in Australia but doesn’t stay there. It usually opens up on the left-hand side which is a bit far to reach across the car to work anything can this be made? So it stays on the right hand side of the screen for a right hand drive car in Australia.

Night-Safe Routing
Hello Waze Team,
I would like to suggest adding a “Night-Safe Routing” option in Waze. This feature would allow users to choose routes that are safer and more comfortable when driving at night.
At night, some roads may be poorly lit, isolated, or less frequently used, which can make drivers feel unsafe or less confident, especially in unfamiliar areas. Current routing primarily focuses on travel time and traffic conditions, but does not account for nighttime safety factors.

Road Surface Hazard (Partial or Full Road Flagging)
Dear Waze Team,
I would like to suggest enhancing the hazard reporting feature by allowing users to flag either a portion or an entire road as having poor surface conditions (e.g., full of potholes or severe degradation), instead of reporting only individual potholes.
In many areas, road damage is not limited to a single spot but affects continuous segments or even the whole road. Reporting individual potholes in these situations does not accurately reflect the overall driving experience and may underestimate the level of discomfort or risk.

In Phillipines there are Expressways that are owned by different companies.
They are likely non competing so depending on your destination, you're either going to use either one of them or both.So It is natural to have them in Toll and HOV Passes (Autosweep RFID and Easytrip RFID), so the route functions correctly for your desired destination.

Feature Request: Show Predicted Traffic Signal Status
I would like to suggest a feature that displays the predicted traffic signal status at upcoming intersections.
The idea is to estimate the signal state (Red, Yellow, or Green) using anonymous real-time movement data from Waze users. By analyzing how groups of vehicles stop, wait, and start moving through a signalized junction, Waze could infer the current traffic light phase with reasonable accuracy, even where there is no direct connection to the traffic signal system.
Possible benefits:
Helps drivers anticipate stops more smoothly.
Encourages gradual braking and acceleration, improving fuel efficiency.

Добрый день сделайте предупреждение голосом о камерах даже если соблюдаю скоростной режим потому что не всегда смотришь на телефон.
Не всегда получается получается смотреть на телефон где камеры и бывало что набирал скорость перед камерой потому что визуально не увидел,а было бы лучше голосовое предупреждение не зависимо от скорости.

Turn by turn on headup display (windshield)
Latest update 5.14.1.0 still does not enable turn by turn to show on the head up display (on winshield). There was a post that waze just needs to flip a switch. Google and apple maps already have it on.
