  1. Rick Springfield

Rick Springfield would be a great addition to Waze voices! He is famous for being a singer and actor. Currently listen to him weekly on Sirius XM 80s on 8 every weekend. Always makes me laugh and smile.

  2. The new waze alert notification is too similar to the sound of an alert the vehicle gives me.

The new alert tone sounds too similar to the alert the vehicle gives me when something is wrong. Every time it dings I look at my Guage cluster for a warning light. Please change this to something unique or revert it back to an audible read out to what's coming ahead. Alternatively, make it an option to choose different sounds in the settings

  5. Emrgency vehicles

When driving, waze allarms me for cars on the road banks, speed trafic cameras policeman ahead hazards etc. Also I can see other wazers on the map.

With my windows closed, if there is an imergency syren yelling by, I often fail to locat the exect location and direction of that ambulance/ police or fire fighters. I think I am not the only one feelling so.
    So.

If all the emergency units on the road wil be on the waze, it will prompt the souranding driversv for rheir existance and exact location on the users maps.
    That will help us…

  6. Waze map not fully extended on the main car screen

Please update the application, so the Waze map is fully extended on the main car screen. Since the last round frame interface there is a gap of nearly 0.5cm on all 4 sides of the display around the map.

  8. Suggestion for Adding Stop Signs to Waze Map Editor: Enhancing Safety, Traffic Flow, and User Experience

    Dear Waze Development Team,

I know this feature was denied back in 2022 but I would like to suggest adding this feature again due to how important it is. This feature will allow map editors to include stop signs on the Waze map.

Here are a few reasons why:
Enhanced Safety: Drivers will have advanced notice of stop signs, allowing them to prepare to stop safely, which can reduce the risk of accidents at intersections.

Improved Traffic Flow: Accurate stop sign information helps drivers make better decisions, contributing to smoother traffic movement and less congestion.

    Optimized Route Planning: Knowing where…

  9. Eco-drive helper

For eco-drive enthusiasts, you could create a function that shows upcoming speed limits with an adjustable distance. For example, I would like to be informed about speed limits approximately 400 meters in advance, so I can deactivate the cruise control and let the car coast to the correct speed for the upcoming limit. For EVs, this would simultaneously involve regenerative braking, saving me fuel and brake pads. The environment would be cleaner, etc. Adaptive notification would be an advanced solution. It would use the g-sensor to understand my inertia and the speed difference from upcoming speed limits.

  12. End route at end of closed segments

When the destination would end on a segment that is currently closed the route ends on the next closest segment (that isn't closed) which in many cases is a road in the back of the property where there's no access to the destination.

Consider ending the route at the last node that is not closed on the route - at the node the closure ends/starts.

  14. One touch option for alerts

It would be beneficial to streamline the alert process on the main page by allowing users to quickly select one or two common options with a single touch. Currently, after pressing the alert button, users must choose from several categories such as "alert," "hazard," "police," or "traffic." A quick-access button for frequently reported issues, like "car on side of the road" or "police," would reduce distraction and enhance safety for drivers.

  15. Custom Route Colours

I’ve noticed that if you share your current journey with someone then your route line turns green.

This made me realise that this is actually much better than purple for me and think this would be a great option for colour blind users.

Being able to select whatever colour stands out best to you to make your route more clear would be great!

  16. Integration with AAIdrive

As the author of AAIdrive, an open-source app that adds some custom apps to the legacy BMW iDrive system, my users keep asking for integration with their favorite apps, and Waze is very popular indeed! Is there any possibility to integrate either the hazards list or perhaps a full Waze experience?

  17. Enable audio apps used by public library patrons

Pay-to-play e-audiobook apps like Audible are already available on Waze, but similar apps used by public libraries - specifically Libby and Hoopla - are not. Enabling Libby and Hoopla would be a major benefit for public library users who rely on Waze. Both apps (Libby and Hoopla) are run by top-tier vendors for library e-content lending and are used by libraries throughout the United States as well as in other countries around the world. E-audiobooks are a rapidly-growing format in publishing, and public library use is growing across multiple demographics. Both Libby and Hoopla would be forward-thinking additions to the…

  18. Trucker Version

Develop a trucker setting, or perhaps an entirely separate 'Trucker Waze' app for those of us running larger vehicles. We need to know about low clearance overpasses/bridges, narrow lanes and one lane bridges, weight restrictions, etc. For example, I pull oversized trailers up and down the East Coast (USA). I am 14'6" high, and 10'6" wide. You could even buy Trucker Path and add all the Waze functionality...

  19. Possibility to tick an avoid country lanes box

Overview routes are only general. A button to tick "Avoid country lanes/no name lanes) would be so useful to not go in circles, trying to find a better route towards a location. It's not always possible to avoid country lanes, but most of the times/most of the route can be at least on B roads.

  20. Multiple waypoints

When travelling to a destination Anna need to be there by a certain time, it would be useful when planning your trip if you could identify the time you must leave and know the time you should arrive at each waypoint. I’d picking up friends from multiple locations, you could tell each one what time to be waiting is multiple waypoints are allowed. Currently, I have to work that out manually.
