How about ability for users to enter some text with their name that would display when people click their icon

Two way or One way scheduled
Here in Brasiília, DF, Brazil, we have some streets that are two way... but, at rush hours it's turned to one way only for a couple of hours.
Also we have another big one that is closed on sundays or holidays.
So, would be interesting to have some editor function to define the schedule of that street... because waze always route us to them and for tourists, that's sucks...

Waze distress signal
As a Wazer, wouldn't be great to be able to send out a distress signal. Tyre change, out of gas, need engine help, etc. Perhaps also car make specific help, in that case a personal setting including car make could be needed.
If another user helps you out he or she would gain some 100 p. To avoid misuse the extra points only should apply when you help a non friend Wazer.
Or turn the other way around and let users state what type of help he or she could provide. No need to get flagged for help if you…

Show location at end of Navigation
This is more of a copy of Navigation for Android.
Anyone that have used the Android Navigation knows that at the end of the Navigation, it shows you the street view at the arrival.
You guys should incorporate the Street View at the end/or arrival of the destination (or stop off points).
I do a lot of traveling to places I have never been to and one of the best thing about Google's Navigation is that it shows you street view once you arrive so you know exactly what to look for. That is why I still can't use Waze…

Disallow all undriverable from being connected to roads to prevent routing errors
Walking trails, boardwalks, stairwell (why does this exist) and railroads SHOULD NOT be permitted to be connected to a junction point on a highway, primary road, street, service road or ramp. By preventing the different types from being connected, it should prevent any routing errors from driveable segments onto non-driveable segments.

Alerting people about highway emptiness
One thing that could make it better would be to have the ability to say streets or highways are empty so people know before hand where to go if they should get on the highway or not.

Share and listen what others are listening to or personal radio station
How about an option to share with others what I'm listening to. Even going further and this one would catch like wildfire listen to people while they are driving like tuning in to their personal station, so if a person wants to share something they turn on their personal broadcast on . Sometimes advise , idea , entertainment comes while UR driving or u want to share with people whatever. So if a person likes a station they can like them and book mark them so they can listen to them next time.

Suggestion to generate more value and Products in Waze company.
Hi Man,
There are some GPS like Garmin that offer a traffic information by radio in real time, but the information that they provide is not so real time like the Wase information. I suggest you to sell this service to the final customers or to Garmin and another GPS companies. It will generate a new way to gain money at Waze company. Another interesting thing is to sell them the information of POIs and general informations like radar, accidents, etc with radio update. Enable auto unmute after annoucning hazzards/ reports.
When Waze annouces a hazzard it mutes music player. It used to automatically unmute now it doesn't

Pausing Waze when there's an incoming call.
When someone calls, Waze keeps saying the navigation instructions, and therefore making it impossible to hear the person you're talking to!
It should be possible to automatically pause it everytime the phone gets calls.2 votes -

Show traffic, not map for regular trips
For routes I take every day, I'd prefer to see a stacked, summary of each turn together with anticipated delays for each turn.
Almost like the list view at the top right of the map, but with traffic on it and with the non-congested parts, diminished.

Please give me back my LONG PRESS SEARCH BUTTON on Android
I use a voice assistant that is activated by a Long Press of my Seach Button. When Waze is active that button is not available (it opens up a Waze Menu). Anyway to deactivate that so I can use my Virtual Assistant while Waze is active?

Time lapse photos
On road trips it would be a cool feature to have a time lapse photo feature that can post to Facebook or Twitter as I am heading to my destination.

Gas Station
Ciao Ragazzi, un piccolo suggerimento: bisognerebbe poter segnare ( in editing) in modo appropriato le porzioni di autostrade dotate di TUTOR. Sarbbe inoltre interessante poter inserire (Solo per questi tratti) la velocità media di percorrenza.
Sarebbe inoltre utile poter inserire ( questo serve solo a chi fa viaggi lunghi in autostrada ) la possibilità che il navigatore segnali, ad una distanza prestabilita, la presenza di un'area di sosta lungo il percorso indicando anche la distanza dalla stazione successiva.3 votes
