  1. Change Road Hazard

    Under road hazard / side of road. Remove missing sign. Add Tractor/Trailer. If I am new to a area I really wouldn't know what sign is missing and if I am from the area I probably wouldn't notice it missing. We see more cars on the side of the road but the big rigs are bigger and more likely to be hanging out in traffic,

    Idea: what if you could make a sound based on your mood? Nearby drivers could hear it if they opt to...happy people could "woot" for example.

  7. הפעלת "השתק" להוראות נסיעה בחמש/עשר דקות הראשונות לנסיעה שיוצאת מהבית/משרד

    נסיעות רבות מתחילות שנמצאים באיזור מוכר - נקודת היציאה היא הבית הוא המשרד, ויוצא שבהתחלה שומעים את ההתראות של המערכת "פנה ימינה/שמאלה" וכדומה ללא צורך. אני גר ברעננה ועד שאני יוצא מהעיר יש הרבה כיכרות והמערכת מתריעה ללא צורך "בכיכר המשך ישר" "בכיכר צא ביציאה הראשונה" ועוד.
    אני מניח שזו לא צריכה להיות בעיה אם בהגדרות של הניווט אפשר לשים סוג של "השתקה" של הוראות הנסיעה במשך חמש הדקות הראשונות כאשר הניווח מתחיל מהבית או מהמשרד.

  10. reports of "Missing bridge overpass"

    As I am editing maps I see a lot of user reports of "Missing bridge overpass".

    Usually, there is nothing I can do about the report because I don't see any sign of a Missing bridge overpass anywhere nearby.
    Sometimes I can tell that the road has an intersection that should be an overpass with no intersection and I can fix that.

    I suggest that there are three major categories of things needing to be reported:
    1) immediate traffic problems due to movable objects.
    a) traffic problems
    b) hazards
    2) long term problems due to changes in permissible traffic

  12. Record of all incoming and outgoing notifications for future reference

    I would like to see more transparency in the notifications that Waze sends and receives. In particular I would like to be able to access a list of all the notifications that Waze sends automatic to those I am sharing my drive with (eg, eta, delayed arrival etc) for future reference. The same for all those pop-up notification received from people sharing drives with me, sometimes I don't get a changes to read these or dismiss them by mistake without looking.   13. no notification when route changes do not affect time

    Please -- NO notification when route changes do not affect time! Took a 10+ hour trip the other day and for the first hour, the app kept "updating" the route though with NO change to the time of trip and kept letting me know about every 1-2 miles ... very very annoying! If time not changed, odds are changes in route aren't important to drivers!

  14. Sudden braking alert

    add service that when a suspicious sudden barking occur, will pop up real time warning to a nearby car.
    this might increase the chances of the driver behind to notice that something might had happend and he/she will slow down\stop in time.
    hopefully we will decreae traffic coliision

    1. Please minimize repeating/similar reports' icons depicted on the screen. It obscures the route or junction and makes it difficult to see the required rout/turn in due time. One icon of police or traffic-jam on a given junction/section would be enough.
    2. It may be helpful having an one-touch icon on the screen to present optional alternate routes, as well as one-touch icon to mute the system e.g. during a telephone conversation or an important announcement on the radio.

  17. Traffic Light Duration/Issue Reporting

    On my way to and from work, I know of two specific traffic lights that are completely misaligned against the volume of traffic. For instance, at one intersection, if the left Hand arrow appeared for 20 seconds as opposed to 5 seconds, my life would be a lot easier (not to mention the efficiency in traffic flow, right near the Lincoln Tunnel going into new York city).

    So how to report this? And to whom? How about a contract you cut with the state department of transportation (or federal, or county, or city) whereby Waze is compensated for providing traffic…

  19. Integrate Waze for iOS into Google voice search on the Google app

    Would it be possible to use Google to search the Waze map database and open a URL to navigate to the destination? Using the same idea as when you click a facebook url, it opens the app and navigates to the relavent page or event etc?

  20. import addresses

    While I have an Android phone, I think that this may be of general usage.

    I'd like to see an import/export capability, perhaps to Dropbox, etc.

    I have had to reinstall Waze, and I lost my addresses, so it would have been nice to be able to simply import the book back. Also, my wife and I have many addresses in common, so it would have been nice to not have to enter them both.
