  1. Allow user to see turn-by-turn direction list when using Waze via Android Auto.

    When connected via Android Auto and using Waze there is no means to pull up the turn-by-turn directions list, even if the vehicle is parked. This forces the driver to drive "blind", not knowing what to expect between the start of the trip and the destination. In city use cases, this makes Waze via Android Auto unusable.

  2. Auto Launch app when connecting to a specific bluetooth device (Car)

    It's something that holds me back to switch to Waze. I need the app to start up automatically when connecting to a self set chosen Bluetooth network.
    That way you never have to touch the app for starting automatically when driving. Only when you want to use the app when navigating.

    I think this stops a lot of users changing to Waze.

  4. Remove excess map details when entering/ exiting busy highway intersections with many entry points or circular roads that adds confusiont

    For example:
    1) I don't need to know the lanes that not in my direction of travel/ against my flow
    2) If it's a lane that is parallel to me but something that I can't get into and no need to know

    At busy intersection with 4-5 exit ramps and inter-looping lanes from different directions, there can be information overload and confuses the driver on which is the right exit/ entry lane to use.

    Put these not-useful-to-me/ distracting information into a very lightened colour or remove them totally?

  6. Type of hazard

    Better options for reporting a hazard, particularly a hazard that is in live lane of carriageway. One example that stands out would be to report a car that has stopped in the live carriageway. Currently, I can only report a vehicle on shoulder.
    Example: 'Report - Hazard - Vehicle Stopped in Carriageway'.
    This is a very important reporting option.
    Example 2: 'Report - Hazard - Wildlife in Carriageway'.
    Basically, more hazard reporting options would be useful.

  7. Blocked Road option unavailable on Android Auto.

    Android Auto policy, for some reason, does not allow users of Waze to report a blocked road, although it is possible when using Waze on phone screen. As a workaround, would it be possible to introduce a change route option similar to the change route option on Garmin devices. With a Garmin Sat Nav, to avoid an obstacle, you can choose to detour by a distance of 1/2 mile, 2 miles or 5 miles, or you can choose a particular road you want to avoid.   9. Speed bump database

    Good morning, I work at Uberaba City Hall, Minas Gerais, Brazil and I would like to know if Waze can make the speed bump location database available, either in .kmz or .shp format. We would like to have this data to control and better monitor these elements. Furthermore, I would like to know if there is a way to enter the location of these speed bumps into the application, as I noticed that not all of them were identified. Thanks

    Could you do routes for cars and caravans. This should take into account the extra width and the difficulty in reversing along country lanes if you meet an oncoming vehicle

  13. Waze should stop after disconnecting from car play

    Waze starts automatically after connecting to carplay, but doesn’t turn off automatically after disconnecting from carplay. It should turn off automatically based on proximity to destination + carplay disconnect + optional couple minutes delay :) I think this will be a better user experience and will improve battery life of the user. I saw a few threads on reddit about this issue but without a solution.

    PROBLEM:

    Several times a day, all humans share the common need to use the restroom. Some of us need to go more frequently than others for various reasons, but when nature calls, it’s a universal truth that we have to answer.

  17. Edit Hazard Reports

    Often I just click hazard because I'm driving & don't want to miss the exact location.
    It would be good if you could go back & edit the hazard when stopped (ie at traffic lights) to add info such as broken down car, elephant on road, elves in bushes etc so other Waze users had a better understanding of what hazard to look out for

    Waze should add Extreme Temperature events to the Crisis Response process. As extreme heat events and extreme cold events become more and more frequent, citizens are going to increasingly need to find and navigate to Cooling Centers and Warming Centers that local governments and emergency planners open when the weather gets too hot or too cold.
