  1. Flooding (Inondation): route modification

    More & more extreme climate phenomena occures. In this context, the current proposed routes are sometimes crossing flooded areas, which is sometimes impossible to go through. I would like to propose an evolution of the flooding alert to have two levels:
    - a first one indicating that we could face issues, but the routes is still valid (~ current alert)
    - a second one, indicating the road cannot be used & so generating a new route computation by Waze, to avoid it. (New)

    There should be a choice of the easiest or safest drive route as determined by an logarithm. Ie less intersections, less bends

    Major Motorways should be split for easier interpretation. Looks like one road when actually there are two. Does not represent reality.

  5. New app “how to “ still has old “Report” icon

    Needs update - New app “how to “ still has old round “Report” icon.
    Under “Achievements” -> “Badges”
    In any of these - if you haven’t done one yet a “How to” link appears.
    Following the “How to Report” link goes to page showing the old “Report” button.

  6. Waze shows small white bar, during normal usage.

    White bar is existing when using waze.

  7. Gas

    When I look up the gas prices, it’s be nice that the search result can be updated as I scroll on the map to somewhere further, instead of limiting the search results to the gas stations nearby.

    The reason being I won’t mind driving further for bigger discounts; also, I might be in the situation where I’m finding the gas price near a location that I will visit later, instead of fueling up somewhere nearby my current location.

    This feature (which btw is offered by gas buddy in Canada) will be a great addition and make Waze so much better,…

  9. Get alerts when I'm close to a location that I have previously marked as a point of interest

    I would like to mark points of interest (POI) ahead of time (maybe via Google Saved locations?) and have Waze alert me when I'm near it, without having to plan a complete route to go via those POIs. Whenever Waze realises that I'm within a defined range of that POI it could alert me and offer to guide me there as a waypoint. I don't always plan routes in advance, and even when I do I often wander off-course to investigate potentially interesting roads, waterfalls, scenic spots etc.

  10. 1000'd of people are unaware that they dont have rear running lights!

    1000's of people have no idea that there vehicles rear brake light are not actually on..because when they step on the brakes! The brake light come on,Running lights are the lights orange lights in front next to the headlights and the rear running lights are the red lights that stay on when u are driving!! The brake lights are in the same tail light fixture!! So for what ever reason people's running lights are usually a bad ground!! Maybe a bad bulb? 1 bulb could have went out so the other bulb in the other tail light fixture won't work?…

  11. Orientações de direções no celular

    Aplicativo Waze é mal elaborado para o Android Auto em comparação com a Apple CarPlay.
    No Android Auto não é possível obter as orientações de direções no celular enquanto está ligado na tela do carro. Isso causa muito desconforto.
    Na Apple CarPlay o Waze está completamente redondo e sem apontamentos à fazer.

  12. I cannot add a received location to Saved Locations any more

    I used to be able to add a received location to Saved Locations but I'm not able any more. This location does not have an actual address so it cannoy be added manually.

  14. Routing/Re-Routing "Aggressiveness" Setting

    Sometimes I'm ok with the "stay on the freeway, even though it may be a bit longer due to traffic". Other times, I want to take every shortcut possible to shave a few minutes off my trip. The most aggressive setting might refresh every 2-3 minutes, and suggest non-traditional routes like alleys, service roads, neighborhood cut-throughs, and even parking lots, if there is any chance it will shorten the trip. A less aggressive setting (default) would keep you on easy-to-follow routes like freeways and major roads.

  15. Signalement depuis le téléphone

    Avec CarPlay, il n'est pas possible de signaler qu'une route est fermée. Serait-il possible de conserver les boutons d'alertes et la possibilité de le faire depuis le téléphone même s'il est connecté en CarPlay.
    ça permettrait également au passager de le faire.

  16. Earlier notification of mobile and static speed cameras

    Current speed camera alerts occur too late and usually when the camera can be seen which by then is too late. Earlier warning along with the speed limit would be a great enhancement to the app.

    Why?
    In Romania, if you're at an intersection with several exits and you don't know the area, you can't see very well where you need to exit because of the name of the street that covers the area where you need to turn.

  19. Re-introduce a feature. Back button (on android) re-centers map.

    This is actually not new, but a feature I (and many people I've talked to) want back.

    In the past, when you would roam around the map to check whats to come on your route, you could just press the default back button on android and it would re-center the map.
    After recent updates, it doesn't do that anymore, and instead shows the dialog for shutting down. So not only we have to cancel that, but then find the button on screen to click to re-center.
    Please, add it back.
