View icons by type on map
Hi!
Right now the map shows a warning icon that something is happening on the road. Therefor I have to tap it open to see what is going on. That takes me few seconds to aim my finger and then tap it and then read it.
It would be much better if I could set it in my preferences to see the event type on the map instead of an exclamation mark. Just like I can see a police icon on the map.

שלום רב,
למה לא מאפשרים לבצע עריכת מפה בגלל שאין לי הרשאות מתאימות.
יש מקום מסוים שאינו מופיע ואני מבקש להכניס אותו.
גם במפות אחרות יש לך אפשרות להכניס והחברה עצמה מבצעת בדיקה ואשר מאשרת במידה והנתונים נכונים.
זה מאוד מקשה על היכולת לבצע/להוסיף/לעדכן במפה.לדוגמא:
הכנסת עסק לגוגל זה פשוט ורק אחרי אימות הפרטים מול SNS או כל שיטה אחרת זה מתווסף אוטומטית.תודה רבה

Keep working when phone lost signal
There are places (like tunnels) where the phone usually lost signal (hence internet connection), It might be useful to use existing data in order to avoid confusion, we could make Waze to use existing data like speed and the current path to draw an approximation of the current location (assuming the driver is following the path).
It doesn't seem to hard to implement but very valuable in my opinion, I would be willing to write a proof of concept if there is a way to write pluggins on top of Waze.

More accurate gps
The only reason I do not use waze more often is that the nevigation is delayed. Unlike google maps I cannot see exactly where I am on waze there is a 15sec delay. This confuses me and makes it harder to navigate and drive at the same time. By the time I pass the turn the gps shows me at the turn.

Traffic Jam
I've been sitting in a traffic jam for hours. Originally Waze said I would get through the traffic in 9 mins. It now says 7 mins but there is literally no end in site. It will be hours. My husband went through the same issue in this area this morning. Waze still isn't showing that there is a huge traffic jam here and accurately calculating the time! I could have driven there and back 3 times. I should have never been sent this way.

Ability to input events from other location
It would be nice in a future release if you could give the user the ability to input an event (ex. Police sighting or road closure) from not in traffic in real time.
Drivers are not always able to tap through the menu and input detailed info during their commute.

Mark roads that which were recently drived by another wazer
Change the color of the road or make a sign somewhere on the screen that shows user if the road was transited by another wazer recently.

Map Correction
To waze map team; I think some idiot in your dumb map team has edited the Pakistan map and showing Jammu and Kashmir in Indian territory. You need to show it in Pakistani territory, stop confusing people with your discriminative thinking and unilateral approach towards the facts, I bet its some Indian who is sitting in Waze or Google his doing. Dekh layen gey tumhain bachoo!

Waze always routes uber drivers to the back/restricted roads of the airport....resulting in potential delays and missed flights.
