When I started to use Waze it interrupted my music to give voice commands and now that has stopped and I can hardly hear it, please can you tell me how to get this back. I use bluetooth to play my music from my Iphone 7 to a device plugged into my car cigarette lighter. It used to work fine and cut the music to give directions but has stopped working now and I can hardly hear anything!

I see from comments that I’m not alone. I raised volume both on my iPad and Waze sound bar. The app is therefore useless for me. Now what?

tout a fait exact , on est sans cesse oblige de regarder l'ecran pour avoir la direction et le pire est pour les radar. autant dire que waze ne sert a rien ........

could WAZE developpers take consideration about is wish by users because nothing is done , there are few post and nothing change

the volume of application is so low , that we didn't hear the instruction. what have been done , becaus eby the past it was ok

about the alert could we hace a sound for by exemple speed limit check ; we are inform about the area but no the place. As the volume is ineficient , it's not good

Après quelques recherches hier, une personne signalait que le problème de son rencontré avec Waze existait également avec l’appli Plans de l’Iphone. J’ai voulu vérifié si j’avais le même souci. Non, par contre, après avoir lancé un itinéraire sur plans et j’ai regardé le parametrage audio (que je n’ai pas trouvé sans lancer un itinéraire). On peut booster le volume et bizarrement, ça a eu l’effet d’augmenter le volume sur Waze. Ai-je trouvé une solution ? A vous de me le dire 😉

J’utilise Waze à moto. Depuis quelque temps a le son a diminuer au point que je n’entends plus le guidage. J’ai cru que mon appareil audio dysfonctionnait mais non, juste Waze. Comment augmenter le volume ?

J'ai trouvé le moyen d'augmenter le son de Wase.
Dans Wase:
- Appuyez sur l’icône haut parleur
- Appuyez sur Plus d'options son
- Supprimer l'option "Forcer le son sur le haut parleur de cet appareil"
Curieusement, le son augmente alors à un niveau suffisant, sur mon smartphone Android.

Waze is generally awesome but the volume controls on android are an embarrassment to yourselves. it's a hazard to have to go thru several screens/menus to make volume adjustments while driving. you should fix this to be adjustable by pressing the up/down volume buttons just like every other app in the android universe. really - this has been an issue for years and is so easy to fix.

It's great hearing the driving instructions in my own voice, but the volume is much too low to be useful. Is there a fix for this.

My suggestion is to SAY IN A LOUD VOICE the maximum speed alowed in the next detected radar. Reason is that sometimes you cannot read the screen for sun reflex, wrong position of the device at that moment, small numbers etc.

For instance: "RADAR SIXTY"

In this case the driver will HEAR that the maximum speed allowed for the next radar is 60 (km, miles)

J'étais dans le même cas, même en mettant le volume de mon smartphone à fond et en le mettant au maximum dans "Paramètres", "Volume de l'application", c'était trop faible pour l'entendre avec l'autoradio allumé. La solution c'est d'augmenter le volume avec le bouton de son smartphone quand Waze parle. Pour le faire parler il suffit d'appuyer avec trois doigt sur l'écran pour faire parler la "voix qui vous demande ce qu'elle peut faire pour vous" et vous vous dépêchez d'augmenter le volume. Sur mon smartphone ça a marché, la voix est beaucoup plus forte, essayez.

I totally agree with that.it's difficult while driving to click on many buttons to get to the sound control

It's counter productive to have to go through 3 menus to get to the sound on-off buttons, especially if you want to mute the sound while driving. This button should be on the main menu
