In my first ever drive on the highways after i bought Pixel 2, (incidentally, i was also driving for the first time on US Highways). I used waze to guide me to NJ from PA. I realized that the Waze app was advising me to keep let at one point in my return and realized later that it was a express way. This led me to a violation of the toll. Though luckily, later, i escaped with a minor fine, however, this made me think, that Waze should have an option to either let the App know i have an EzPass or i propose to use a Cash Toll option instead. This option should be a subset of the existing option that allows us either use a "Toll road" or "Avoid Toll" option.

There should be an option for taking toll roads

So I live in an area with a few toll roads, sometimes I want to take them sometimes I don't. I would like the option of selecting each time rather than just having a setting of on or off.
Another issue with the current settings options is if I set the option to allow toll roads then I route to a destination and opt for a route that does not have toll roads, if I do not follow that route exactly it will recalculate and recalculate using a toll road even though I selected a route without tolls.

PLEASE PLEASE ADD AN OPTION FOR ASK EVERY TIME (OF A TOLL ROUTING IS AVAILABLE) TomTom has this one down and it works great.

How about adding a "Tolls" icon above the Waze cloud icon to enable/disable tolls with just one finger touch? It could be extremely useful instead of looking for the option in the menu during driving. Then if there's already a destination set, the tolls icon should recalculate the driving directions in realtime. How about this?

Make it easy to switch between toll and avoid toll settings.

Right now, it requires us to go in through settings and then navigation settings and then select the check box on or off.

This is many steps and when you're driving and trying to decide whether to take the toll road or not, it's hard.

Furthermore, you have to cancel navigation and re-enter your destination for it to re-calculate the route and give the time estimate.

Sometimes we have a long route with many tolls. Some of them are worth avoiding and some are not. The option for avoiding tolls is also too hidden.
The idea is to put on the map and/or on the represented route after you chose it, buttons on each toll so you can avoid them or not individually.
This way would be also easier to switch between avoiding and not avoiding.

After selecting the destination, Waze should prompt (as his famous brother Tom does) if toll roads should be allowed or not. In this way I could leave the option "Toll Roads" unchecked (it should be also removed) and before each journey I can choose depending on the case which route to follow...

re: Tollroad function: currently there is an option to use tollroads or not. It would be helpful if routes were served up that provided BOTH toll and non-toll routes. I live in Dallas, which has a lot of options WRT to toll roads and if the non-toll road option has the same drive time, I'd take that one, but now I have to go back into settings and de-select the toll option to find that out.
