Ella-- would be great if you could clarify where this preferred route can be found, etc. While you've indicated this has been addressed it doesn't appear anyone who responded since you're 'now available' update has found it.

I tend to use 'add stop' as a way of coercing Waze to remind me to take my preferred exit (off a regularly taken route) several exits before Waze's auto-gen'ed route would otherwise have me take-- so that i don't miss my exit. However, i don't actually go to that stop 1/2 the time. During those times i'd like to be able to 'delete' the added stop.

I do also like the suggestion by @SunSet to recognize this route i take regularly, and offer it to my in my alternate routes list as my implicitly preferred route (which i took the last dozen times i want to this given destination.

I just updated, and I still don’t see anywhere to set a default route. I see under route options, it’s giving me my usual, but it’s still defaults to the original Waze chosen routing

Possibility to memorize the same route done many times, for example from home to work and vice versa as a favorite route and know the travel time to be able to choose it

I love this idea. I would suggest one step further to say it will help to save my previous taken route as favorite.

You can already add a stop along the way. Get your route on the map and then search for your personal stop. Add it as a stop. So you get your preference.
Note intent of Waze is to get you there fastest if you have a preferred route then just free Waze without the routing.

Adding to this, would be nice to save a predefined route or routes and have compare those instead of picking its own route. Also be able to set a time saving threshold such don't deviate from route unless i can save 10 + minutes.

YES! I have a route I very much prefer -- it's 5-10 minutes longer than what Waze wants me to do, but it's traffic free, while the 3 routes Waze prefers all put me on a highway that ALWAYS has traffic that drives me nuts. The amount of trickery I have to do with pretend destinations to force Waze to use the roads I want it to is ridiculous.

There should be an option to create a new Route when selecting from the list of optional Routes. When selected, user will use their current location as the starting destination and once you’ve arrived at your end destination hit Stop or End location and this will create a new route automatically that users can bookmark as well as it be one of the options to choose from when choosing a route until it is deleted from users past history data.

First of all I am a monstrous Waze fan. I absolutely love it and I use Waze every day when I go to and come home from work and pretty much everywhere I go as I find the alerts very helpful. I would like to save my normal routes e.g. (home to work) and (work to home) and when I start my trip (start Waze) it would be great if Waze can give me a green light if my saved normal route (home to work) or (work to home) is unchanged or a yellow if the route has been changed due to traffic issues. Sometimes due to traffic issues Waze has me getting off one or two exits earlier which is almost the same ETA time so I don’t notice the change in the route and often drive past the newly routed exit and into standstill traffic. Because I am a bit of a scatterbrain I often don’t check the actual route if my ETA is within the normal range and thus I am unaware that my normal route has changed as "The Scatterbrain Factor" becomes quite challenging for most people over the age of 55 LOL. So you can call this new feature the “Scatterbrain Notification Feature” Ha Ha. Love your product! Keep up the great work and God Bless!!

It would be great if we can create and alter our own drive route. While it is great that Waze does suggest the best route at the time, there might be more alternate routes that do not appear on the list. If we could be able to create and edit out own route, we avoid a certain toll road, but go on another. or choose a certain toll entry point over another that could save us a couple of dollars every trip.

Or if Waze could use and save our already travelled daily commutes? that would make it easier and we could save this as our daily preferred commute to work.

Print or save off line i live in sout western Colorado where cell service is not always available when your map stops then what? I have to screen shot then print .if I could have saved the route for off line use or print directions these extra steps would be eliminated

I am a frequent user of the Waze mobile phone app. From my own experience, and from speaking with other frequent users of the app, I find that situations often come up where users want to use the same route to go from source to destination that we have used in the past. From my own asking around it seems that this issue almost certainly affects at least one in four users of the app at some point. Furthermore, I believe that this issue can be addressed by simply adding an option to save the route just taken in the “Arrived at Destination” window and adding another submenu to the left menu. This will allow users to easily save and reuse routes and will be very little work for your team. Thus, more users would continue to use your app rather than switching to alternatives.

100% agree! Waze's route takes me through a squatter camp/ township. Alternatively an "avoid this area" function.

I'd like to be able to go my preferred way of its less than 10 minutes slower, but then still be able to compare and go another route if my route is extra long for any reason (traffic, accidents etc)

I use Waze to go to work & I drive the highway almost all the way there so Waze is an extremely useful tool. However the exit it wants me to use can be a bit scary when merging onto the next highway. I prefer to use the next exit & it only adds 2 minutes to my drive time. It would be really helpful to have this as my preferred drive so that any updates include what is happening after the skipped exit.

Preferred routes are the main thing that is missing in Waze.
