When I go to work or home, I prefer to take a certain route, mainly because the route the app suggests has a school zone and tons of traffic when I leave for work. If the app could memorize my preferred route, that would be great!

An interesting idea would be to settle prefered routes to go to some point.
I use waze app every morning to go to work for 3 years and my prefered route (the shortest (in time) for 90% of my morning trips) is not often calculated stright away.
I have to go with this route, even if system calculates other routes as far as it finally considers my alternative and calculates a time which is finally the shortest.
I do that because I know that time calculated for other options are often wrong because of traffic jams.
Sometimes I take this route and it was finally not a good option, waze was right about taking me to alternatives. Nevertheless it is quite often the best option.

So it would be very great to have this "prefered itinerary" option, so when i make my itinerary choice in the morning I will have a better view of every possibilties including my prefered one.

Gostaria de incluir duas sugestões:
1) Evitar locais perigosos, alagamento ou por qualquer outra o motivo durante a rota.
2) Fixar rotas que mais "gostamos", ou que nos sugeriram, ou que fizemos com o waze e adoramos, ou seguindo um amigo.

Verifiquei que as duas sugestões acima foram solicitadas por outros usuários brasileiros e de outros países, como feedback ao waze, seria interessante agrupar e verificar que mesmo que não tenha muitos votos as sugestões cada pessoa acaba escrevendo a sua e isso pode parecer que são poucas solicitações, no entanto, podem ser inúmeras e de tamanha importância como essa citada sobre SEGURANÇA, no dia a dia.

Option of routes on the main page with eta's and miles Will make it so easy to choose preferred route

I was expecting this feature to be a part of the app. The app does not pick 2 very good alternates of my drive to work! This fracture would truly be AWESOME

When I get in my car to go to work or from work to home - because I'm an hour away without traffic, I check WAZE to see what way is going to be fastest for me -- many times my normal route isn't even an option supplied by you. This morning as an example - the way I normally go took me 48 minutes -- it wasn't offered as an option - what was offered was an hour 10 minutes, an hour 4 minutes and an hour 23 minutes. Unacceptable and I'm tempted to only use your app for traffic conditions.

Your app should be intuitive enough that it looks at the "normal" route taken and offers alternatives to that only if they are shorter.

Tie into google maps or the phones onboard gps, To learn the typical routes that the ussr constantly uses, ie; I ride the same route to and from work everyday. But it Always tells me to take and alternate or a different route then the one that I plan on using!

En algún punto Waze las aprende y las incorpora a las sugerencias de ruteo. A menos que encuentre uno mejor.

la idea seria que el usuario pueda enseñarle a waze sus rutas habituales al trabajo, casa, familiares etc y que luego waze le ofresca rutas alternativas con menor tiempo y menor distancia, ademas de que pueda alertar incidentes de esas rutas del usuario, asi en la mañana cuando abro waze para ir al trabajo por ejemplo, me avise de los incidentes en el camino para poder tomar otras rutas

Waze is supposed to learn which routes you prefer, but I've been driving the same route everyday for over a year but yet Waze still tells me to take the same side road that I never take.

Maybe instead of just learning preferred routes, Waze should also learn undesired routes

Every weekday at +/- 4:30 I leave work and head for home. It's an identical route. Every weekend I wake up and go to the gym at the same time on Saturdays. WAZE should let me program these, and recognize when I'm traveling on my programed routes, prompt me to select and then only notify me when I should vary my normal route for traffic. If my normal route is the fastest way then I would hear no navigation, but if I should deviate from my normal route it could alert me.

On my way to work, Waze tells me to go a certain way, and after ignoring it I arrive faster using my preferred route every day. I would like to be able to give feedback that the route I just took was, in fact, faster. This would hopefully allow ways to adjust it's suggestions for people taking a similar route.

Change user reported routing problems in WME to a more preferred route. Be able to drag the suggested route to a more appropriate one. I see tons of route problems that I know are better the way the user went but technically nothing is wrong with the roads or junctions.
