Agreed -- I used to live on Baxter. It's not safe as a thorough fare.

People that don't live around the are can't drive and shouldn't drive down that hill. It's too much traffic and the streets are smal and people don't know how to scoot over to let another car through. Get it out of waze

Yes, please remove! We live on the corner of Baxter and Lakeshore and during the rush, angry and frustrated drivers don't even let us back out of our driveway. There's such road rage now that I'm afraid walking my 3 year old home from preschool for fear of the aggressive drivers. And if this weren't bad enough, add rain and we have a mess of cars sliding all over with nowhere to go. Thank you!

yes! please remove baxter st. it is not appropriate for cut-through traffic and definitely not appropriate for people to drive over and stop at the top because of limited vision. it creates a serious hazard for local drivers who know that you cannot stop on the steep grade because of dangers of slipping out or your car not being able to handle the incline. this is exponentially more dangerous for those of us driving a manual transmission!!

I have lived in this area for several years and last week I almost crashed because of bad drivers being sent on Baxter. My car started rolling backwards because my breaks (new Mini) couldn't deal. This is DANGEROUS. PLEASE HELP.

We've had 3 accidents in our DRIVEWAY! over two years due to inexperienced drivers being sent over Baxter in hazardous conditions at rush hour. It used to be so peaceful around here.

I live off Alvarado & Baxter, so I've great difficulty trying to navigate onto Baxter any time of day, due to the wayz-induced traffic jam.
Silverlake Blvd has become a parking lot, & little one-lane Cove Ave (tween Allesandro Way & Glendale Bl) is now a hazard risk since the new traffic on that street gets stuck-literally, trapping its residents. -

Cove Ave should also be removed from the routes. Too much traffic on tiny twisted one lane neighborhood roads that support 2 way neighborhood traffic, not unknowing commuters

Waze is great. But not for Baxter st. Nor Fargo

I know the city is planning a traffic study of this street due to all the accidents occurring recently due to Waze and GPS routing traffic across this HIGHLY dangerous street. Waze would be wise to reroute all traffic from Baxter St. (between Echo Park Ave and Allesandro Ave) as there are many many accidents of late. I wouldn't be surprised if they start to get sued by people

I have seen some very scary near-misses on Baxter when drivers don't know what they're getting into. I've been wondering how to flag this for a while. Please take note Waze.

Steep streets that require knowing how to drive them. They also cannot take heavy traffic because they are long and steep

Narrow streets. No place for rush hour traffic. Residents are suffering. An accident waiting to happen.

It has become dangerous to walk down our street with my children in the last year or two. We have no sidewalks. We have had a huge increase in traffic and the majority of traffic is over the speed limit.

Baxter is a challenging street, even when a driver is not looking down at his phone - please suggest alternate routes.

Adding my support to the removal of this route as a Waze commuting option.

Inexperienced drivers should not try to navigate this street!

One of the steepest streets in California. This is not clear from two-dimensional maps. Very dangerous!

Extremely dangerous, someone is going to die here. People do not know how to drive that hill and I see near fatalities every rush hour.
