Please bring back the animals by the side of the road alert. I drive daily where there are numerous deer and kangaroos grazing on the road edge. They do a lot of damage when hit at 90km/h.

There was an option for roadkill in the hazard section of Waze, that was somehow removed. When you come across a large male kangaroo or a decent sized wombat that will do serious damage, when you come over a rise and have no warning, because an object is the only vague at best option in Waze, because even in our nation’s capital there are roadkill as well as regional Australia and no way of letting other users know.

An option of other side like the police option would be beneficial as well due to hazards not being visible to motorists from the other direction.

Just the other morning, I passed a stray cow on the side of the road on my way to work and could not report stray livestock, as there is no option for that either. There are stock routes through NW NSW and cattle feeding on the sides of the road with no way to notify other motorists that there will be delays due to livestock merrily crossing the section of road being grazed on.

And yes an option for hazard animals crossing, especially for prone areas from sunset to morning, I often see freshly dead pigs, Roos and foxes the following morning from the previous night.

But then it only for certain animal that already being tagged and trace.

But i agree if any user report for animal that being sighted near the road or on the road it self can help deter incidents

Please please please put the option to report animals on the side of the road again. This was EXTREMELY helpful and important to ensure the safety of the animals and other drivers. This honestly breaks my heart because I love animals and want to keep the as safe as possible!

Like Hazard alerts a lot of people life in areas where wildlife like to venture out into or near roadways. If we could share that there is an animal near the road or in the road that would cool. Also could save people from hitting deers and things like that.

The reporting of animals is very critical. The road I travel to work oftentimes have deer on the side of the road. Just reporting a hazard is too generic

There used to be an animal warning under hazards for the android version, with the last big update it was taken away please add it back

Bring back the wildlife on side of road alert. It’s important to know where deer are at dusk and dawn when near highways.

I belive the button for animals on side of road should come back it was really helpful when going through new areas an also on highways where there are deer

They should at LEAST bring back the animal alert

WHY was the animal alert removed?! That really sucks! Everyone in my community relies on this alert as we have an abundance of deer and bear! At least give an option to select alerts for individuals. But I see this falling on tin ears. Can anyone recommend another app that has some type of Animal alert?

There used to be a button for nearby animals. This was very helpful living in an area with many deer, turkey, foxes running across roads. Now the only thing is a general “hazard” button which could mean anything, or map chat which isn’t safe to use while driving

Please add back the possiblity to report animals. It helps a lot!

Allow report animals or make it customizable so people can choose what reports they want to have at hand .. if no animals live nearby someone he can hide it.
