Voice reports on Android Auto
It would be really useful to be able to report road hazards by voice on Android Auto.

Why is this not a thing? Its recognises the command but doesn't accept it

Stanislav Hrádela commented
I have tried voice command same way as without android auto and it even makes recognition sound, but ignores report.

I only use Waze with Android Auto, it really needs Voice reports to avoid drivers playing with the menus to find the right report while driving

Much safer to report by voice command when driving meaning not having to look at the screen.

Waze needs our input. Make it safe for us to provide reports.

I really don't understand why they won't add this. You can do it via the phone if you aren't using andriod auto. Like it doesn't make any sense at all when I can control spotify easily via voice commands on andriod auto.

This is an essential feature for safety. It is very counterintuitive to have a driver take their eyes off the road and hand of the wheel to report hazards... Especially when it is heavily encouraged through the app.

This should be crucial

This would be an amazing addition to the app!

Why is this taking so long.

I am throwing my vote in for voice commands using Android Auto. Also, you can't send a report through Android Auto because there is no Report Send button like there is when using the phone.

Waze's whole selling point is that we all help each other out by reporting trafic, hazards, etc. I would expect it to be a priority to make it as easy as possible to do so.
Furthermore, laws banning the use of phones other than in hands-free mode are common and often poorly written leading to situations where using any touchscreen including an android auto head unit while driving could result in a ticket. -

This is a must have, please?

I agree would be much safer

It is very dangerous to have to look away from the road, tap 3 or 4 spots, to report hazards. The more reports, the better waze is. As a user driven application, why are you making it dangerous for us to report the hazards that you depend on to make this app better

voice commands to report or acknowledge hazards is very important, far too many clicks are required at present to report a hazard making it dangerous to do as the driver.

Please activate hazard reporting via voice commands in android auto

One more vote here. Usually when there is a hazard, it is exactly the time when I do not want to remove my hands from the steering wheel. Yet, it is the best time to let other drivers know about it. As others, I am surprised this only has 32 votes - but I just found out about this request.
