disable popups
Please provide the means to disable popups. I like the flags. The popups block half the screen, are irrelevant, and recenter the map.

The speed camera pop ups are really annoying and dangerous. They cover half the map. I don't understand why I can't disable them.

I, too, am very annoyed by these popups. When I have turned off the "Show goodies" on the map I do not want to see any icons or popus for any restaurant or any other establishment. I believe this only started occurring after Google acquired Waze. It's extremely annoying and distracting. I also agree with the other posts stating that it is dangerous while you're driving. It shouldn't surprise me that at this request was first posted over a year ago. Thanks google!

Popups are the very worst part of Waze. I don't give a shit about the social aspect, I just want to see turn by turn directions, and Waze's stupid popups literally get in the way of the most important feature of the app: directions.
Might as well use Apple Maps at this point.

Please disable these annoying ad pop-ups. I don't care if KFC is 1/4 mile away. I asked through your website to stop ads. I still get them. UGH!!!

Tuen them off - I love the app, but the popups make me want to never use it again. You will definitely lose customers. Lots of them. Turn off ads.

I've found these things to be very dangerous. They cover up the whole screen for quite some time and the cross you have to click to close them is far too small. I would already be much more confortable with them if you could just click anywhere on the screen to close them...

I think the pop up alerts are really dangerous. They cover half the map, so you have to lean over to get rid of them -mind taken off the road and a bit of one handed steering thrown it. Should someone in charge of a car be asked for feedback on speeding camera locations? Sat nav is supposed to be hands-free.

Alternatively, popups should be 1 text line tall. Like are the notifications of blocked popups and so on in some desktop web browsers, shrinking as needed the rest of the screen, and so not hiding any other screen element. And maybe: tap to expand.

I AGREE !! Not helpful at all. Why in the world can't I just turn off the notification for cars on the side of the road? I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT A CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT A CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT A CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. Waze, please allow me to turn off this "feature".

The worst thing about the radar pop up is that sometimes it "freezes" on the screen. It stay there forever. The only solution is to restart Waze.

The speed camera pop ups are really annoying, esp on the m25 where they are every 500 yards or so. Please can we have the option to disable them. Also the warnings about vehicle stopped on hard shoulder as these are very frequent and I don't find thenm useful.

I like the idea of having the popups.. but, when I am navigating from home to work, I don't need to know about traffic congestion or police 35 miles out of my way. Maybe create an option to disable them if they are not on your navigation path or more then say... 5 miles out. Something like that?

I think you should be able to discontinue ads from a particular company similar to how facebook allows you to stop seeing a particular ad. If I am never going to go Mcdonald's I should not have to see that brand and Mcdonald's should not be paying for impressions to me.
