Waze, road closures used to be identified on Waze but no longer can be noted in Waze. Please bring this back! We had a bridge that malfunctioned for almost 5 hours and we could not mark the road closure and Waze kept showing it was a valid route blocking hundreds of cars. Waze must note road closures to keep people from being misled that the road is open and getting stuck for hours. Thank you.

You need to put the option to choose road closures off of your route back in the app that way if I’m on my route and it has me going straight and the road to the right is closed. I can choose the road to the right is closed for future navigation of other drivers so that they are not navigating to that road

There are many options to describe roadworks including closed lanes, but nowhere to report a closed road, which has not previously been reported.

Come on. . .you can do better than this- road closure is important to everyone using the road it should be high on the priorities list for Waze users- at the moment it is virtually impossible to report a route is blocked or closed!

Current and updated road closure information is ESSENTIAL. Last week's I95 (major highway!!) closure in the Washington DC area was not noted on the app AT ALL and I was routed directly into the disaster area. Waze SHOULD have been routing drivers toward alternate roads, like 81. I'm sure I was not the only one majorly snarled in the mess, which could have been completely avoided. MAJOR FAIL, WAZE.

This seems to be already implemented, but should given option to select roads just passed so I don't have to stop traffic behind me while I enter on Waze.

Make it so that when a Road is closed, that there is an option to declare this and then Waze will find alternative route/warn others

Waze lets you mark roads as closed at intersections, but not in the middle of a road. A number of times I've been driving on a road only to find a tree has fallen across it or a major accident has closed all lanes.

I would like the ability to specify closures on the motorway for example if M6(S) J17-18 is closed then it would be good to do that so Waze can find best route to avoid trying get on to a certain junction.

There is a train accident on a road I travel. The only other way around is 30 miles the other way. Need the ability to post a roadblock so that waze won't use that road or at least an option to find a route that avoids that section of highway. I saw a lot of wazers before that accident and few after. Three weeks of incorrect directions appears to have discouraged some users. Clicking routes does nothing because the only other way around is thirty miles out of the way.

To add to this I recently was diverted off a dual carriageway that was closed between 2 junctions for repairs. The divert road was still operational, so I could not flag that as closed, so I really needed to be able to indicate that a portion of road that I was not on was closed. If it was possible to select portions of road to apply reports to it would help, rather than only where you actually are.

in the netherlands in nieuw weerdingen is e raod weerdingerkanaal zz. this road van not been used for going on trafic it is only foor local tarfic. the only road for going on trafic is weerdingerkanaal nz.

I was in a construction zone where they merged the north bound interstate traffic with the south bound interstate traffic. During those several miles, Waze was very confused. It did, however, know that I was in the south bound lane.

Can we have Waze detect this and figure out on its own that the area is a construction zone? Then mark it as long term? The company can use Waze to monitor it. And the app would not get confused and give weird directions during those miles.

Besides being able to point report something (not just being able to report on current location... after all you are in a car moving). Add the option of "closed road". aka, you can't go through here, seek alternatives.
