Weather overlay. Especially for storms and warning/watches. So we don’t have to toggle between apps while driving!

I regularly need to drive 600 km on a road passing through various towns which often have protesters blocking the road. As it isn't a busy road, social media and the radio don't give sufficient information on time.

This would be so helpful to know you may encounter server weather ahead.

I agree with the original post. I had this as a built in function, in a 2014 Jeep. There was no Android Auto available. I moved to a 2017 Hyundai and was disappointed that a weather radar was not available through either the car directly or through Android Auto. A radar overlay in Waze would be ideal.

Realtime weather service most of cases actually isn't in realtime.

LA hills are terrible to drive on. We were visiting from TORONTO and some of the hillls that waze sent us were treacherous. I suspect There wasn’t much traffic on those roads because the locals know better! :). Waze should avoid very steep hills.

The feature for motorcycle routing is excellent. What would then perfect the app is if it overlaid a weather app or forecast for the journey. Just needs a simple set of icons on the route screen. I think it can easily be done and would be so valuable for those of us in the UK who can experience the four seasons in one afternoon. Thanks.

What I mean by that, instead of one icon representing a hazard, it would be great to see visually what each of those hazards are directly. Snow, ice, car parked on the side of the road, etc.

My main reason is, if you take a road condition like ice for example, it would be helpful to see such warning ahead of time instead of not knowing what the hazard is or take the driver's attention away by clicking on it.

Overall that would probably give a better visual queue of the surrounding road conditions not limited to road hazards but anything that Wazers should be aware ahead of time.

I'm sure it's been discussed but I'd love to see this for the future update.

Add to the hazard list some winter road hazards such as snow packed road and road not plowed.

road conditions should integrate with state 511 reports especially for snow covered roads in a state like Nebraska. There were several times already this winter that I am sent down road that quickly turned into more snow!!!

This warning feature is for weather related instances. I live in an area where the fog can be rather thick at times. There are certain shortcuts that you can take to avoid traffic but some of those routes are dangerous. It would be nice if waze alerted the driver to say “ warning this route may potentially be dangerous if traveled during this time. Then provide alternate routes with an updated eta for the driver. I’m not sure if you can tell potential routes that maybe unsafe from Satellite imaging or sending scouts out to assess the road when it’s safe, so they can determine if a potential route maybe unsafe during Inclement weather.

Tornado icons would be very relevant for this app's hazard warnings

This is a MUST for road traveling specially in countries that have a very dynamic and dangerous weather (Midwest US with tornadoes and strong rain formations).

Since the end of December, I have experienced 1) an isolated snowstorm on the highway (roads were not yet treated and it was slippery even with AWD). My only option was "ice on road". 2) High winds on highway (no option for that 3) large amounts of snow on route WAZE directed me to for driving to a popular supermarket (2 days after a major storm). I could only report "ice on road", and on the way back WAZE wanted to direct me back through the snow! We chose to return via the highway, which was much safer and a bit faster because there was no snow.

For North American and Canadians. It woudl be appreciated to have a notice for blowing snow, snow storm, black ice.

When weather conditions are bad, especially snowing, have waze avoid routing using secondary (possibly unplowed) roads. I got stuck today when waze sent me down an unplowed road.
