Solar glare should be added as a hazard... You can even suggest putting on some sunglasses a half a mile to a mile before solar glare spots

Have an option for poor visibility due to snow or heavy rain.

Please add "snow squalls," "snow drifts," "slippery conditions" and other conditions that may not pertain to just "ice on road" or "fog." I know other drivers and I have experienced all of these in Pennsylvania and would like a way to notify others.

At this time of year where I live, my daily commute is on an east-west motorway which grinds to a halt very suddenly because of the low sun on a clear day.

I wanted to warn other users because you don't otherwise know WHY the traffic is so slow on that stretch unless you are familiar with it, until you get there.

Could you please add a visibility area in reporting road hazards?
In Colorado we can have blinding snow that makes visibility an issue. Fog can be an issue as well as heavy rain. A visibility to cover all these weather hazards would be great; or if appropriate one for each category.

Should be able to use Weather Underground api for this feature

When you have a snowplow on the highway You should be able to see a truck on the map of a snowplow and be able to see the speed that it's going at through there live GPS tracker

Hi in my country, it snow a lot, so the road is very dangerous, first snow and then ice, so please add snow minimum on the app. :)

chain control information if available from the cal highway patrol on their website and their app. this data could be pushed and incorporated into waze so it posts chain control restrictions for snow conditions, etc in and around tahoe especially. that would make google maps and waze a "one stop" information site for travel to and from the bay area and tahoe. it also would let you verify accidents and issues with the already-posted cal highway patrol information to give waze more accuracy.

Ever get a notification about how long it'll take you to get to work?
Live in an area where weather is completely unpredictable?
Then why not use weather data to factor in when you should get out to de-mist, defrost windows; or clear ice; warm the car for a young or elderly passenger; or ramp up the air conditioning to prevent your dog suffering heat exhaustion?

Stupid flood alerts when a puddle forms. Vehicle on side of road: no one cares shut up already.

Maybe some connection Waze can have with the weather in your area and then either warn you and remind you that roads less traveled may be risky or if can somehow determine unsafe roads - or based on another driver's report of danger of unsafe roads Waze will adjust the route. I used it last night in the snow in MD and it took me back in the woods where there were no other cars and I was slipping around alone and afraid of getting stuck. The road was not plowed or salted. It didn't occur to me at the time that Waze would take me on these unsafe roads but it makes sense since it takes you where there is less traffic. Had I realized that with a warning at the time I wouldn't have taken that route.

Please add "Snow covered" as a road hazard. We frequently have issues with roads covered with blowing snow in the winter, between plow runs. Sometimes they can be quite hazardous (with drifiting) and hard to see at night, city side streets, or just outside the cty, on the highways

We went through a valley on Rt 70 just west of South Mt & were taken off guard. Wanted to warn others but wind is not an option.

Would be amazing to have an overlay of the weather. This feature could allow users to avoid weather patterns when necessary.

Please... Remove weather tips or at least add a way to hide them without hiding other warnings for fuck sake! Tired of seeing ten times a mile "weather is rainy" thanks im seeing it -_-

Would be nice to get snow, blizzard, black ice, & drifting snow added to weather related hazards.

Also, add sanding in progress & sanded to road conditions. This is very relevant to northern countries & locations.

You may also want to add seasonal roads which are created when lakes & rivers are made when they are iced over.
