Weather overlay
I would love to have a real time weather overlay on the WAZE maps. This would be a GREAT feature to add to aid in knowing more about driving conditions. Please vote and let's see what we can do to make it happen.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Need to add at least 2 levels of rain reporting to road hazards under weather. 1 level light-moderate and one for extreme downpour

Radar would be very helpful

Add "Heavy Rain" and "Snow" as weather hazards. I have recently been driving through extremely heavy rain storms and I would like to share that as a weather hazard. Snow and slush would be good additions as well.

Some areas have white out conditions when its not even snowing.

This would also be helpful so Waze doesn't route you down roads that are knee deep in snow and haven't been plowed, forcing you to constantly turn around and find an alternate route while Waze keeps directing you back to the snow-covered roads!

I don't need to hear every 30 seconds that "there is fog ahead" especially when I am driving in the fog. This is mind boggling annoying.

For those of us living in the great snowy north...it's nice to know if you are about to hit a patch of road that the snow plows haven't gotten to yet or they have and did a crappy job of it...particularly if those sections of roads are on/off ramps...so you can prepare to slow down ahead of time.

Would be a great enhancement to get radar overlay.

I live near and cross a very tall suspension bridge that can be dangerous during high winds

Instead of dropping a single point where it's raining or snowing instead integrate live weather radar to make the whole areas where weather is present apparent. Also consider changing the current weather hazard specified points to more useful hazards like water on road, snow drift, icy road, black ice, and etc.

I suggest you remove rain and any other weather reports from the app. They are useless and annoying. it's difficult to reroute around nature.

Strong winds appear not only in California. Yesterday we had them in Harz (Germany) too and I couldn't share it...

along with the rain, snow, fog, hail there should be a "high winds" option. when my small sedan is being blown around it would be a good idea to report it.

Where I live in the area we call the Inland Empire, CA. We experience Santa Ana winds which can reach such force that high profile vehicles have been known to tip over.

Can you add dangerous low sun to the weather warning options?

For long trips (over an hour) use hourly forecast along route to show icons of expected weather at time of passing, an icon every 50-70 interstate miles/one icon per hour of travel.
Optional live or looping semi transparent radar overlay and severe weather alert zones on route, audible alert with plenty of notice for motorcyclists, convertibles, warn to slow down for severe weather ahead.
Weather service alerts on route should include flash flood, severe thunderstorms, tornado, hail, etc.
Manual option to report weather related issues such as heavy rain and high wind as well as automatic waze feed. -
