Option to use Bluetooth HSP or A2DP
Waze uses bluetooth A2DP for navifation instructions. But a lot of car sets only uses bluetooth HSP. There are apps that convert A2DP to HSP but these apps always mute the car radio. So it would be great, if Waze can send navidation instructions via HSP to a bluetooth car set. So it will mute the radio, give the navigation instruction and then unmute the radio. I think that would be a big feature, cause google maps can't do this right now.

It would be great to have Bluetooth option to select Bluetooth via A2DP or A2DP Alternative streaming. Especially for those who have the 3rd party CarPlay dongle the Bluetooth transmission stopped working when connected to CarPlay

For EV's read SOC(state of charge) and use data to add (fast)charger stops with optimal charge time and/or find nearest charger.
Also use other other obd2 (historical)data like outside temp and energy consumption for optimal route planning. Just like abetterrouteplanner.com. -

I second the suggestion to have Waze read and make use of OBD2 data. If there is an error code (or data suggesting that a battery needs to be replaced, or other issues), Waze could tell the driver about garages that can fix the problem, and if a car is coming to a garage Waze could tell the garage what the problem is.

The obd2 to Bluetooth/wifi (elm 327) chips are cheap now. Would be so awesome to have mpg, boost pressure, and engine codes pop up inside of waze while driving.
